In a shaker, add 35ml good quality vodka, though rum and Tequila work just as well.35ml Mr. Black Cold Press coffee liqueur5ml Sugar Syrup and a double shot of espressoShake hard until icy cold and double strain into your desired glass.What made you want to become Appletiser’s Alchemist?It’s always important to me that any partnerships are aligned with my own ideals. Is there a particular order you should drink your cocktails in?Approach a cocktail like you would food. For example if you’re going for brunch, cocktails with vegetable ingredients like beetroot and carrot work well and are a good substitute for fruit. If you’re drinking pre-dinner, then choose light, refreshing drinks to cleanse the palette. Move onto one that has more of a distinctive flavour and then finish with a sweet ‘after-dinner’ style drink like an espresso martini.GETTYCan you tell us a bit about some of the recipes you have created with Appletiser?I’ve worked with Appletiser to create bespoke cocktail and non-alcoholic recipes using modern flavour blends and techniques.
