It is a busy place so not great if you want some where quite. this was my first visit but i will surely go back food is really good and the service is great staff really friendly and quick service despite venue really busy. only flaw i think it' s quite expensive. Be careful that the little plates can add up. This one tends to put a lot of the £6.35 plates on the belt. The "sumo" bowls are the best value as they are... Have been here a few times for a pre cinema meal. Enjoyed the sushi, hot food always tasty, though to order these extras it can sometimes be hard to catch the staff's attention. I won't go into detail, but... Tonight I went to try this restaurant. The service was good, the place looks good and the food I would say it was delicious. The sushi rolls are oversized but still without too many rice. I will return for sure It's great for a lot of reasons. We've never had to wait too long to be seated, service seems to be just want we want on the different occasions we've been there, either prompt when in a hurry or relaxed when we've got more time. Down to a button and light on a pole to call for attention. I have been to Yo Sushi many times and enjoyed the service and the food, however this visit was let down massively by one particular member of staff. She was rude, dismissive, disinterested and frankly spoke, undeservedly I might add, to us like she wanted us gone. She wore glasses, had a piercing above her lip on her left side... Visited this eating place with some very good friends who had eaten at Yo Sushi before and we had a fabulous time with some great food on offer.

Plenty of choices and the whole experience was a lot of fun with the staff who we had a great rapport with. Will be going for another visit very soon. Came here for the Monday Blue offer where more than 40+ dishes are £2.80! Food are freshly made and service is quick too. This is very good when people like me have limited time for lunch. The food was very good but it was very expensive for what it is. The sevice was pretty average and one of the waters where very rude eating some gum infront of me. The design of the resturant is very modern and they have just chganged there menu!!!! Went here finally with friends. I'm not the biggest fan of seafood but was pleasantly surprised at the amount of choice on offer. Plenty of other things to eat instead of fish and the plates I ate were delicious. Will definitely go again. Was friendly and service was good. Food was great and a new experience for me personally. Atmosphere was good, would certainly go again However having 2 hungry teenagers present made it an expensive outing!

Celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Food was fresh and very good. There were lots of sushi alternatives, I tried to taste everthing I liked them except the one with lots of kecthap We went on a sunday early evening and it wasn't a very inspiring visit. Ok for what it was but nothing exceptional. Never really had sushi before but I have to say I will be going back yo Yo Sushi! Offering an array of fresh food in classic sushi style. Making my trip even better was a fantastic cheap nearby car park on Church Street, RG1 2SQ! Amazing value for money and great fun. My partner and I love picking up new dishes and watching the chefs make the rolls! Recommend the deep fried squid and tempura veg Quirky restaurant and good service. However, it seemed that there was more cooked food going around than sushi. Also, the counter doesn't offer a good variety of sushi, if you want something other than maki (oor cooked food) you need to order off the menu.
