Wer in der Innenstadt arbeitet und in der Mittagspause statt Salat oder Brötchen ein schnelles Sushi "to go" bevorzugt, kennt sie schon lange: Die Sushi Factory in der Kö-Galerie, die bisher an ihrem Verkaufsstand im Rewe-Markt im Untergeschoss japanische Spezialitäten zubereitete. Jetzt hat das Hamburger Unternehmen, das neben den Stationen bei Edeka Zurheide und in der Kö-Galerie auch in Hamburg, Bremen und Oldenburg Sushi-Restaurants betreibt, eine eigene Filiale im Erdgeschoss bezogen. Rund um den Eingang Grünstraße hat sich dort unter anderem mit den neuen Räumlichkeiten der Metzgerei Ludwig und dem Weinkommissar ein eigener Food-Bereich gebildet. Great for a quick lunch at a licenced restaurant with great beers. Road frontage is not that great but... We had dinner at the Sushi Factory and found the food to be tasty and very reasonably priced. We didn't feel like sushi so we sat at one of the tables and ordered off the menu. If somehow you don't see what you want on the conveyor belt you can order off their menu. We are a family of four that ate at Sushi Factory on 2 October 2015. Food was fresh and very tasty. All of us had different meals including vegetarian. We enjoyed our meals and were satisfied with the amounts. Staff were friendly and helpful. This place is really nice, all the sushi is fresh and there is lots of variety to choose from, not overly expensive either which is good!
