High-quality food, great service, and unique atmosphere make our restaurant experience one not to miss in the Medford and Rogue Valley region. This little whole in the wall could use some sprucing up but if you just want a good menu then go! Perfect fir before Brit ! I've eaten 6 times. I have always had a good meal. Not great sushi but good enough. Staff is friendly atmosphere casual. I've been to Umi Suishi in Grants Pass twice within a week. At a ladies luncheon, I ordered the bento box with vegetable tempura and shrimp tempura. Both items were absolutely delectable. The tempura was light and crispy. The citrus dressing on the salad was sp delicious that Umi should bottle and sell it. My husband enjoyed my leftovers. On a cold rainy day, some hot miso, gyoza and sushi are a good choice, and Umi didn't disappoint.

Quality was good and service was very good. This is a really good restaurant in the heart of Jacksonville! Servers are very pleasant and overall the food is really good! Make sure you try their rolls they are delish! My first visit here. Thought the sushi was very fresh and well prepared unlike some of the other restaurants inI usually go to Portland for my sushi or back to the Bay Area so this is a welcome find. This was our first visit to Umi. Everything we ordered was quite good. The sushi, cooked entrees, salads and soups were all well prepared and presented nicely. We will definitely go back! We frequent this place for fresh delicious sushimi, sushi and Korean food. Hot sake and a piece of salmon with a thin slice of lemon is heaven. Large group had take out. The dishes were all as ordered and the other thought sushi and bento boxes were well prepared. Vegetable yakisoba had lots of veggies and quiet tasty; it was a bit oily but not less than most I have had.
