Seperti dikutip dari akun Facebook Nisa Hadi, Selasa (11/8), ia menuliskan pengalaman, yang berdasarkan keterangan karyawan Sushi Tei, salah satu menu yang disajikan disebutnya 'kurang halal'.

Lewat tulisannya yang diunggah pada Jumat (7/8), Nisa menjelaskan jika makanan yang dipesan keluarga dan dirinya mengandung mirin. Seperti dikutip dari Wikipedia, mirin adalah bumbu dapur untuk makanan Jepang berupa minuman beralkohol berwarna kuning. Mirin mengandung alkohol sebesar 14 persen.Nisa dan keluarga mengetahui jika makanan di Sushi Tei mengandung mirin setelah bapaknya menanyakan kehalalan makanan. Jawaban pelayan Sushi Tei kemudian mengejutkan Nisa dan keluarganya."Iya pak, soalnya rata-rata makanan di sini pake Mirin (type of rice wine similar to sake), termasuk makanan yang bapak pesan." Merasa makanan yang dipesannya mengandung bahan yang haram, Nisa dan keluarga akhirnya memesan menu baru, yakni sashimi. Nisa menambahkan, ia dan keluarganya untuk sementara akan berhenti menyantap makanan di Sushi Tei sampai restoran tersebut memiliki sertifikasi halal."Buat kami sekeluarga, sepertinya pensiun makan ST akan diteruskan sampe yang bersangkutan dpt sertifikasi halal. FYI, Sushi Tei di Brunei dan beberapa restoran Jepang di Brunei sudah bersertifikat halal lho... berarti, sebetulnya ada dong ingredients substitusi(untuk mirin dan zat-zat non-halal)."
