Everyone enjoyed the soy and plum sauces that were included. The quality does not justify the price. You can go to almost any other all you can eat sushi buffet in Ottawa and pay the same price for way better sushi. I don't recommend it and won't go back. We went here for a friend's birthday brunch so we didn't really have a choice in the venue - I would have rather stayed home and had toast. The other relatively negative reviews have accurately expressed what is wrong with this place. The food is alright but ultimately mediocre and overpriced. The servers seem overworked and uninspired. Stopped at the restaurant for dinner at around 7. Service was slow & food so so. Lost my appetite when I saw a fat bug which looked like a cockroach.

When a second one started crawling up the barrier next to me I killed it (see picture attached) with the container that holds the food order forms. Attended with office staff after reviews were generally positive for this restaurant. On attending it was an immediate disappointment with very poor service, not getting the food orders as requested. When waiters were asked about the orders they appeared confused and were attempting to describe food orders as something different than what had been served. Dirty dishes were not removed... It was priced too high for the quality. The sushi was average tasting, and it came apart when you picked it up. The service was fine. The location is convenient if you're already in the area, but i would not go out of my way to go there. Very average sushi with the worst service I've ever experienced. We got there a Sunday evening around 8 and there were only two tables taken. The initial service was very quick and we got quite a few rolls in the first 15 minutes.

The rolls are very large and thick, with little taste or texture. At about 8:30 for some... We started coming here when it first opened over 5 yrs ago with our sons. They now come with their girlfriends for date nights. We do our birthday celebrations here, mid week lunches, weekend suppers. It's consistently great value and the sashimi is fresh and delicious.
