Until I began hanging around the Chesapeake Bay, this was my go-to place for live crabs by the dozen, by the bushel. Suburbia Seafood goes back so far in Norristown area history that there isn’t a Bubba within 20 miles who hasn’t shopped there. The people who run this place know every fin food cookery trick in the book.

If you’re not much of a cook but have a seafood craving, Suburbia will cook your seafood up for takeout or you can pull up a chair and eat it right there. Visit Ibiza anytime I am in the area for the wonderful atmosphere, especially the back garden patio and waterfall, and the yummy selection of tapas and plates. Try the mushroom risotto! We got the cold shoulder, bartender looked as if he was the manager or even... Ibiza is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. I had reservation booked for the covered patio next to one of the heating units. Our wait person was very helpful, as the new fall menu had just come out that week.

The food is always good here but I must say they have outdone themselves with the items on... I'm sad to say that this place has really gone down hill and I don't see myself coming back. I had been here many times in the past, even held events here, loved the regional wine flights and the many many tapas choices. They are now gone. The wine menu has been cannibalized with pages ripped and torn out. I went there for dinner (November, 2015) - there were very few diners - perhaps 3 or 4 tables were filled (this was a Tuesday night). The menu looks impressive and I ordered the empanadas and the paella. It took about 10 minutes for the first dish to arrive - the empanadas were greasy and had a thick bread covering... We made reservations for 6 for a coworkers get together. Valet parking for restaurant patrons was easy and convenient. We were seated immediately and took our time reviewing the menu. Maybe too much time as our waitress seemed annoyed. We ordered a pitcher of peach sangria.
