Choe’s isn’t just a sushi house though, and the sushi should not be ignored: Pad Kee Mao: Simply called ‘stir fried noodles’ on the menu, this Thai dish is better known in the west as ‘Drunken Noodles’ this dish has flat rice noodles dunked in a oyster sauce with beef. Agedashi tofu: An appetizer that features lightly fried tofu in a teriyaki sauce. I’ve loved this one and it seems to be more popular these days, perfect to start a meal without something too heavy. Dolsot Bibimbop: A Korean specialty! Served in a piping hot earthenware pot with all the veggies and kimchi on the side. The very sleek environment and well-trained staff are great, and just enough so that you’ll be well served without feeling overly interrupted. The overall presentation of the entire restaurant is, in this regard, fantastic.

Overall, really, Choe’s Asian Gourmet is awesome. It’s the kind of place where you can find virtually any Asian cuisine you like, whether you’re just getting into Sushi or whether you’re a hardcore fan looking for some new combinations.
