gogo sushi pasadena

The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding; especially considering the price! Try the Gogo roll! Of course it's not an outstanding high end glamorous sushi bar. But everything we had was fresh and tasted as it should. My wife loved the lobster roll, which really was something special. And the staff was always friendly and helpful. We would be here at least every weak if we didn't live some thousand miles away. We had 6 different rolls - all were very good and very large. Also tried sashimi and it was tasty and fresh Off the beaten track, in a strip mall, basic cafe feel with rotating sushi bar but the quality is excellent and the prices very good. We are regulars for both dine in and take out. Wouldn't suggest it for a special night out as the decor is a little dated and basic, but it's one of the best sushi places... We miss this place - we moved north of the LA County and are now 40 miles away from our favorite sushi place. We used to go here every week for a sushi fix.

Our family each have a favorite in this restaurant - I just love their Shrimp Scampi Roll - it's so good - never had anything like... Delicious fresh sushi prepared in front of us and reasonable prices. We stopped here after visiting the Huntington Botanical Gardens and were very impressed! To say it clear - the 5 points are for the quality of the food - that's what matters when you eat sushi. The rest is average but still not bad. Best choice for a stopover when in Pasadena and looking for fresh sushi. Nothing more to say. Staff is very friendly. Great sushi and tempura lunch combo. Great prices for their lunch specials. I picked it because it was really close to my hotel and was really impressed with the food.Place is located in a strip mall off or Colorado Blvd. Bathrooms were untidy and one toilet was backed up which is a big turn off. Nothing really wowed me here other than that it was close to my hotel down the street so it was convenient. This place might not have the best location or the best ambience, however the sushi is fantastic.
