Owner of SET Co., Chad is diligently working at perfecting his style of Japanese tattoo after being greatly inspired by his trips to Japan. Geoff has been tattooing since 2000. Starting at A-1 Tattoo Company in Kansas City, where he grew up. Christopher Stiles has been with us for the last three years working full time as counter/apprentice and now full time tattooer for the last year and a half. Good, clean tattooing with a penchant for fine lines. Books and flash are also available at the shop for generating ideas. SPECIAL GUESTSOur Special Guests are frequent visitors to Fraser Street Tattoo. Check below to see if they are in town before calling to book an appointment: Daxton Brunet began tattooing in 1998/99, working in 2 of Toronto’s best tattoo shops: Tat-a-rama, and T.C.B. Tattoo Parlour. Eckel started tattooing in a small German town near Cologne in 1999/2000. Heavily influenced by three pillars of traditional tattooing (western, japanese and blackwork), his work has developed a more realistic approach over the years, but still keeps a bold line and a decent amount of black in it.
Erin Sousa, in her downtown condo with husband Roberto and their pup, Ava. I have been looking forward to sharing the ultra-chic pad of style influencer Erin Sousa for a few weeks now. As the founder of Sparkle Media and The Sparkle Studio, Erin is always on the pulse of what’s beautiful, trending and fresh. It’s no surprise that the downtown home she shares with her husband and their little pooch exemplifies stylish living. With whitewash walls and a curated décor, the space balances a minimalist yet inviting aesthetic. I love the feminine details juxtaposed by stronger main furnishings, creating the ideal space for an urban couple to live life, fabulously. What is it: A 14th floor two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in downtown Vancouver. Occupants: Erin Sousa, founder and creative director of Sparkle Media, my husband, Roberto, and our dog, Ava. Major selling feature: The super open floorplan – I love that I can live, work, and eat all within its open living area;
we also love its second bathroom, and of course, the location! First thing I changed: We painted the walls white and swapped out the lighting fixtures. Feature I brag about: We have sliding doors that open up two sides of our living room and kitchen, making the space feel incredibly breezy and open in the summer. The patio is great, and I love that the building has an outdoor pool for those hot days! That one conversation piece: The white built-in that lines our living room. It's perfect for storage, displaying pretty items, and it also holds our TV. I love the warmth it brings to the space. The décor: I love white and bright, with neutral tones and a pop of floral and colour here and there. Our style is a balance of modern and soft. It's rare for me to not have fresh flowers in every room. The story behind the art/antiques/collectibles: As a couple, we have a very hard time agreeing on art, which is why we still don't have anything on our big dining area feature wall!
