It was a really good & perforated so I could cut it easily in smaller strips. They get a little bit flakes but hold together pretty well and make delicious sushi rolls. Yes (1) No (0)  Report Yes (1) No (0) Verified purchaser I make sushi a couple times a year when the mood hits. Generally I go to the Asian supermarket and get the Nori sheets there. It's a much longer drive so sometimes I've just picked these up at Walmart. So this review will compare for you so you can decide if you want to bother with these or if you too want to seek out a better product. These sheets are half the size of the sheets I find in the Asian market. This can be kind of a pain for me, but what I do is I just wet the edge and I stick two of these walmart sheet together and then I have one "full" sheet to work with.
It's easier for me to roll with a larger sheet because I am clumsy at rolling. Perhaps this would not be an issue for others who are more skilled than I am or who employ a different technique than I do. These don't seem quite as fresh but the distinction is so slight. Would I eat either by themselves? So it doesn't really matter actually. Once you have the rice on them and the fillings... you won't notice a difference actually. These seem a little more "Tough" or less buttery somehow. They do dry out much faster than the other Asian market sheets. So I guess this is all going to boil down to how much time do you have to go searching for Nori sheets and how much is the right ingredient going to make? I use these and my hubby honestly doesn't know the difference. I like using the other just for ease of preparation but I can't really tell a difference in the final product taste actually when it comes down to it. So use your own best judgement. One thing I will say for these is I appreciate the packaging.
They are packaged better with more sturdy packaging to prevent damage. Yes () No (3)  Report Yes () No (3) Verified purchaser The product is good. Quit asking me to review things. I'm sick of getting the emails. I've already opted out and they still send them.... smh, doesn't this company make enough money to leave me alone? Yes (0) No (2)  Report Yes (0) No (2) Verified purchaser Verified purchaser The problem we had with this nori was the anti-moisture packet packaged with it. The nori is packed in pre-cut half-sheets, in a plastic tray, much like Oreo cookies. That part was nice, it kept the nori from getting crushed. However they put a food-grade moisture pack in the tray before packing the nori, and this little moisture pack prevented the nori from laying flat in they tray and rubbed holes in several sheets of the nori. In addition, some sheets weren't square at all, but looked hand-torn at a jagged angle, in addition to having the hole in them. Finally, this nori proved more difficult to cut than the nori purchased at our local supermarket.
Rolls had a tendancy to split no matter how sharp our knife was or how wet we kept it while slicing rolls. Even laying Saran Wrap over the rolls while cutting didn't help. We made it through the pack of 20, but will probably not use this brand again.
