The waiter asked us if we wanted to have a drink while we went over the menu. This place is probably one of my new faves! When we first walked in, it wasn't too busy.
They also offer delicious traditional Japanese dishes there as well. It is in a comfortable setting with friendly staff. Having been to Japan many times, I can tell you, this authentic Japanese. When busy, the service can sometimes be slow. Overall, Good Food/Good Location! Saki bombs are a happy hour special. They offer many items at a discounted price during happy hour. Their sushi is always good. The edamame comes with ever meal. Sushi is very good. Service is good as well. There is nothing not to like here, but there is also nothing special about it either. I would go back, but won't be upset if I don't. We have been coming back for 10 years nearly every week.
The waitstaff are always pleasant and we look all their California fusion Japanese dishes. The Sushi Girl and Jalepeno Poppers are two must try favorites ! “Our favorite in Vacaville” “Best Sushi In Vacaville” I eat a lot of sushi, and this was hands down one of the best places I have been. Only ordered a Mexican roll, but it was BIG and delicious!! I wish I had found this place sooner on my business trip, because I would have eaten here everyday. Beer is also buy one get one free! A must go to before the movies. They have a good variety of roles and their sushi always tastes fresh. The wife likes the ramen to. We love Umi, and always get Sushi Girl, jalapeño poppers, as they're always awesome....nice Korean owners, with good service every time Let's be honest, nothing is more amazing than $1 sake bombs. Umi has them everyday, all day. The sushi here is ok but not my favorite. Definitely good for the price (most rolls under $10). The service is terrible, and I've been here many times and waited at most 30 minutes for service when the restaurant wasn't...
Its the best on vacaville! Try the sake bomb! They Have draft saporo!!!!😍 the bento box are awsome too! My fav roll its the spider roll!!!!! This has been our favorite for years. Try Sushi Girl, Jalepeno poppers and the edamame. The kids always like the Japanese marble soda, and the Korean servers are like family. “Our favorite in Vacaville” Happened upon this place and it was pretty good. The atmosphere was not traditional Japanese style... More like a diner converted but good use of what was there. The service was great...very nice young lady--wish I caught her name-- food was fast and tasty. Serving size was large to what we are use to... We ordered two rolls and two...
