tripadvisor new york sushi

“Would like to go back and try the ...”“... waiting in the to pay but we ...” We eat at Beyond Sushi twice in two days. First at the place inside Chelsea Market and then in this place not far from Union Square. Excellent dumplings and surprisingly good veggie sushi. My favourite sushi place.. being Vegetarian usually means a limited menu card at sushi joints - not here! These were sensational with each flavour from each ingredient combining perfectly with one another. We are here to make our vegetarians friends happy :-) Glad you enjoyed our non-traditional flavor combinations, see you again soon! Went there for vegan sushi and it was awesome!! The best dish we tried was the spicy mang. We also loved the four appetizer plate. The chili mushroom soup was good and the mushroom dumplings. The desserts were also nice! Especially the black bean sweet potato brownie! We'll go there again for sure! Niki - thanks for visiting us!! We are glad you were able to try lots of items and enjoyed them!
I think you'll like the Mighty Mushroom roll for next time. One of the best all-around places to eat in NYC. Certainly the best place to take someone you want to impress. The rows of meticulously presented vegetarian sushi of various flavors and colors is a delight. I go there often, with my wife and for business. It never fails to impress me, or anyone I bring there. Thank you for writing us a review! We appreciate you as a regular customer and thanks again for the kind words!! It was OK, but not "amazing" like some people are saying. Personally, I felt the sushi was very overpriced considering it's vegetarian. I understand rent is high in NYC but... eh.... I think I just had such high expectations because of the reviews I read. The service was good though. Thanks for the review. On your next visit, give our lunch specials a try (11:30AM-3PM) - they are a great value and allows you to try a few items. Hope to see you back soon! There really isn't much to say other than I love Beyond Sushi.
It's touted as a vegetarian sushi option so there's absolutely no fish anywhere on the menu. While that may deter many, it's really worth a try. I've tried three out of the fix or six regular roll options as well as one of the wraps. Thank you for writing us a review. We hear your feedback on the seating. We will see you again soon! This place has the best mushroom dumplings I have ever eaten! So many options and something for everyones taste! Thanks for the review! The Fun Guy dumpling is one of the most popular items, we are so happy to hear you enjoyed it. Awesome concept, very creative in food styling. Perfect for take-aways, parties. I walked past this small, unassuming place (the branch on W56th Street) and was intrigued by the menu so decided to try it for dinner. The most superb vegetarian sushi and more. I had dumplings, a sampler platter of sushi and a wonderfully spicy carrot salad. Everything I ate was delicious, looked so appetising and was crammed full of flavour....
Thank you for such a great review - we love to hear from our first-time customers. Glad you enjoyed everything. We may look to expand to London one day, but we hope to see you again soon in NYC! Helpful staff, great choice of unique sushi rolls, salads and more. The seaweed salad is a must.Since you're a seaweed salad fan, check out our Green Root noodle salad next time you come in. Fish was of varying quality. Uni had a very strong iodine taste along the lines that you would find at a lesser... Don't go late at evening: the product they use is fresh and delicious, and probably that's why some of the items on the list are not longer available after certain hour. It's very simple, but you notice you're eating really good fish. Around 100$ per couple (minimum). we have been going here for many years - need to plan ahead make reservations you get a number and you cannot hang around more than the time given to you as they have two lunch sittings - its worth the process - the food fresh - delicious and the presentation impeccable Sushi is everywhere now, from super-expensive formal dining to inedible supermarket offerings and a host of numbingly mediocre places in between. Sushi Yasuda is the best sushi experience this side of Tokyo. Simple elegance in the dining space decorated tastefully with light bambo. Superb rice and delicious fish. Make sure to try this one when you are looking...
This is the best place to have omakase by far. The freshness of ingredients is unique. The sea urchin, salmon tuna mackerel were divine. Interesting sake list as well. Will definitely visit soon its worth every dollar Best sushi we have ever had. The quality is exceptional. Very simple yet exquisite sushi and sashimi. Omakase (chef's tasting menu) is recommended. To leave full the average cost is 200$ per person. Absolutely oustanding sushi and sashimi. The freshest by far. Even the salmon tasted like Toro. Sit at the bar and order omakaze from Yasuda himself - you won't be disappointed. Should be rated 6 stars at least. Not inexpensive but quality comes with a price. Will be hard to have sushi anywhere else now. But if you are into sushi- this could be on your list. The omakase was interesting- plenty of variety and tried some fish and sea creatures I haven't tried before. Service was attentive, but lacked the friendliness that would have been nice during an adventurous meal.
