Are both lunch & dinner reservations accepted with children? Thank you for your enquiry.
Children are welcome in our main dining room at all times. The only age restrictions are for the bar and lounge areas, where guests under 18 are not permitted. Hi, we didn't have any children with us, but assume there will be no problem with children in the restaurant. I was dining there at lunch the other day and there were two children there, perhaps 7-10 years old. I was dining in the evening and there were several children in the restaurant between the ages of 4 and 10 Shouldn't be a problem. Check when you book. Can you answer this question? Would definitely recommend the outdoor bar on the middle level for sheer theatricality with the bar curved round a tree and pools of fire between seating. The inside of the bar on all 3 levels was very chic and the drinks inventive with a selection of Japanese and Peruvian themed cocktails - would certainly recommend the strong Kaffarinha with lime leaves and cachaca. This restaurant steals tips from staff. A 15% charge is added to the bill but it is not for the waiting staff. A large proportion of it goes towards costs and breakages. A restaurant that is as overpriced as this one can surely afford to pay for its own breakage costs without deceiving customers into thinking they are paying for the waiters service and underhandedly stealing it from you and them. Even if the tip is left in cash the company still insists that it owns the tip and can dip it's hand into the pot to take its share. I will not return. The view is stunning, food, cocktails & service excellent. Our waiter Salvador went to great lengths to ensure an unforgettable night! Ok so let's be clear - dining out in London is expected to be an expensive business - restaurants almost pride themselves on who can get away with charging the most per head.
You can see from my 600 other reviews that I often visit top end restaurants and for the most part enjoy it thoroughly.Sushi Samba has taken... So my wife decided to surprise me for my 27th birthday. She had made reservations and asked for a window seat, which was agreed beforehand. We arrived bang on time and the security guard didn't know what he was doing. He was asking people who had not made reservations to form a line, but not distinguishing those who had... so... I prefer the NYC version but certainly the decor, the view and the drinks were great! Food good also but pricey. A little hyped up for what it is but worth a visit There was a 30 minute delay to be seated. However the food was amazing, and the waiter was lovely. We asked him if he could recommend dishes for us, and he did an absolutely fantastic job. I would definitely come back again. The place is great, really nicely decorated. The day I've been there it was foggy and couldn't see from a foot away. It makes the saying "having the head in the cloud" perfect for that moment out of time.
We went on holiday with my family and we decided to try SushiSamba as they recommended to us, and definitely they where right! Starting with a lovely table and the amazing view and the service of Ignacio, the head waiter who chose for us all the selection of dishes and sake to pair with. Absolutely knowledgable and attentive with us,... Spent a second birthday here celebrating and this time brought my family along to experience with me as I had told them how amazing the food was. A fantastic idea, amazing views & super food! Myself & my wife had the best brunch ever here, ended up spending £200 without knowing it but worth it! Amazing food, great concept & so special.
