EXQUIS iPad App for Baccarat Following the successful launch of the EXQUIS collection for Baccarat KACPER HAMILTON is releasing for the first time the video of the EXQUIS Baccarat iPad application to celebrate the significant role this experimental tool played within the creative process. EXQUIS pays homage to the great and varied history of the different decorative styles used by Baccarat crystal since their foundation in 1764. Kacper Hamilton (British Designer) and Michal Florence Schorro (Swiss Photographer) have collaborated to create this collection of three unique vases. Each vase is a ‘totem’, an emblem in celebration and respect to Baccarat’s ancestry. L'Art de la Degustation - Campaign, France L’Art de le Degustation designed for Ballantine’s Whisky 12yo by KACPER HAMILTON was chosen for Ballantine’s Winter 2012 France Campaign, hence is published in many Parisian magazines, and placed in billboards in Paris, Paris Metro & all over France.
L’Art de la Degustation (The Art of Tasting) is about reinventing the ritual of drinking whisky. The design was inspired by the concepts of equilibrium and the traditional process of distilling whisky using an alambic. Zai HIGO Tools & Zai CORE Axe exhibited at BLICKFANG, Zurich For the first time, zai will be present at the international design exhibition blickfang. Alongside numerous exponents of the design world, zai will present its exceptional products from November 23 to 25, 2012 in Zurich. First and foremost with their new products HIGO Tool and CORE Axe designed by KACPER HAMILTON. With their exceptional skis, the Swiss manufacturer zai from Disentis regularly attracts attention from the ski industry around the world. View the press release from Zai please click EXQUIS for Baccarat in BLUEPRINT Magazine EXQUIS, a collection of three unique vases designed by KACPER HAMILTON to celebrate Baccarat’s ancestry, was published in Blueprint Magazine within Blueprint’s selection of London Design Festival 2012. “Ever played the parlour game where everyone draws different bits of a body – first head, then torso, then legs and feet – continuing each section of the body on another person’s drawing, so that you end up with a series of (usually) hilariously disjointed bodies? Well the game has a name – Exquisite Corpse, or Cadavre Exquis, as its French surrealist inventors dubbed it – and British designer Kacper Hamilton has just used this technique to create both a series of striking new vases for Baccarat, and a tool for commissioning future work.
