Very fresh, good quality, tasteful and price is easy on your wallet. It is the perfect place to unwind after day at beach or touring the city. A quick dinner was required and friends suggested here. Local sushi in the Outer Sunset. Formica tables and aged decor but amazing. Satisfied the needs with tasty fast delicious range of Japanese loveliness. Visit to outer limits for great food. We were staying in Sunset and this was one of the restaurants that was recommended for sushi. We were waiting when they opened at noon on Sunday and the restaurant quickly filled up. The sushi was delicious and the service quick and efficient. We had some sushi we had never had before and we enjoyed everything we tried. Full of locals, we were lucky to get a table on a Tuesday night, although there were a couple of seats available at the lovely sushi bar, and a low table in the window seat. All seats were full by the time we left with people waiting for our table. Service was very friendly and conscientious about checking on us....

Local favorite, quality sushi, yummy sizzling fish, friendly staff. Can be a bit of a wait weekend evening. When recently visiting my son in San Francisco, I chose to enjoy dinner with him and his girlfriend. They live in the outer Sunset, and often visit Tazaki, so we chose it for our Valentine's Day meal.
ichiban sushi menu and priceIt was absolutely delicious and fresh, excellent service.
jiro dreams of sushi official siteNothing fancy about the venue itself, but absolutely worth it for a good clean sushi...
how to sushi rice youtube I love this place for a few reasons.
how do you get sushi grade fish

Firstly, the sushi is great. The super white tuna is AMAZING, so fresh and just melts in your mouth. The service here is always spot on, the staff just makes you feel welcomed. And finally, there usually isn't a long wait and it is relatively easy to find parking! Went to this place because we were at the beach. It's a small restaurant, but they have excellent staff & great sushi. They also provide tea & edamame as you sit down. Prices are also very reasonable.Unfortunately, this restaurant is not on the OpenTable reservation network. To see if they take reservations and have availability, you will need to call the restaurant directly or visit their website. I can not say enough about the quality of the fish. The creativity and love that goes into everything they do is apparent in every dish. No matter what you do have a spoonful of happiness! I live in Tokyo and often go to SF. Without fail, I always go to Sushi Koo because of the high quality, fresh sushi at decent prices. This place is authentic and the sushi chefs are all Japanese--which is very important as many sushi lovers would know. This place is comparable to many of the top end places in Tokyo,... This is my favorite Japanese place in San Francisco. Always fresh and prepared with dedication by talented chefs. The atmosphere is very warm and the staff very nice and helpful. My husband and I chose this place because it was close to where we stayed in the city.

I think we got lucky, because it is more affordable than spots near the union area and it was probably just as good. We had a few different rolls, but the salmon was so so so good. We've had sushi in several... The sushi was really good and reasonably priced and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would recommend to anyone. The fish was excelent The head chef was very well spoken and nice The rest of the staff was extremly nice and helpful The bar is a little too low, which means that you do not see the chef's hands very well I asked for a chef to serve me what ever he felt like (classic Omakase) and my mind... We had a great time. It is a nice setting and nice decor. Great choice of sushi. It was fresh tasty, well presented, generous and genuine. As far as I am concerned the sushi rolls had too much rice. Otherwise it was great sushi. We would go back for sure. We ordered Tempura and sushi. They have an wide selection of Nigri that was extremely fresh.
