It comes with Apple sauce. There is only chopsticks on the table. I have to asked for fork before... The restaurant was surprisingly empty considering the view location on pier 39. We ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box with tempura, California rolls, rice, and a salad with no dressing. The teriyaki chicken was terrible.... Food was mediocre at best! There are much better choices... I'm not an expert in Japanese food, but I thought it was pretty decent. My husband and I ate there twice. The bar place is the best, the table I was sit has wonderful sigh on the water. The soup and the sushi were ok but not delicious. Similar that we sometimes take on the lunch at home. Everything was just so for a very pleasant lunch - the food was authentic, the portion size generous, the price reasonable for a sitdown classier restaurant. We got a window table for 2...I enjoy Japanese food and the culture; this represented neither and was disappointing. The location is the attraction as it located on the water at San Francisco Bay. However, there is delightful, inexpensive and beautifully prepared/served Japanese food in this city. Eat somewhere else if you are on pier 39. Stepped in here during a visit to the pier. We found some seats at the bar near the entrance, enjoyed their rolls, had a couple of Kirin Ichibans, and then stepped back into the crowds.
