This little resturant delivers beatifully presented tasty fresh food. The decor is pleasant and the staff friendly. I've been going to sushi tengu for a few years now and I've really never been disappointed. In a town where I frequently see sushi places close down only to reopen under a new name, multiple times, sushi tengu has managed to cement itself as a top Sushi contender in town. My favorite roll is hands down the 'crazy girl... Dinner for 4 this evening. Food was fresh and delicious as always and the staff are always polite and accommodating. My daughter-in-law and I always love the teapots and dishes which are always an eclectic and beautiful mix. One thing to know is that their salmon is farmed salmon so we try to avoid it...just something that's important to us...

This is by far my favourite sushi place in maple ridge, and worth the little extra drive even tho there are multiple places closer. The vegetable yaki udon is amazing - we can't not get it. Also love that the have the Cali Mango roll. We went twice in the last two weeks to Sushi Teng and were impressed both times with our experience. Their presentation and craftsmanship is superb . Menu selection is interesting, food is fresh, and the atmosphere is modern and attractive. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly. We shared the 911 Roll, Master Roll, and 4 in 1 Roll (sampler of four rolls). They were delicious, fresh rolls with yummy flavours and beautiful presentation. We have visited this restaurant many times and have never come away without enjoying our personal favorites or trying a new menu item. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and the service is wonderful. We are definitely spoiled by Tengu and have made it our favorite sushi restaurant.

I think my family and I were one of the first customers through the door. I cannot eat Sushi anywhere else without it falling short of this place. Great jazz music playing, friendly staff....This is the best sushi in the GVRD, but don't tell anyone, or my family and I will never get a seat!!! I eat a lot of sushi around Vancouver and once I found this location, am a regular. Everything has a fresh taste and is beautifully prepared. Service has been friendly and quick. My wife and I will be visiting here regularly in the coming year. Give it a try. Very nice decor, and the food was quite good. Our only critique is that although the sauces on some of the sushi was good, a couple of the dishes had just too much of it on, it was a bit overwhelming. Still, a great little place. Foam mattress covers for added comfort without any type of covering is absolutely disgusting. The staff were rude and not willing to accommodate when the rooms were dirty and promised rooms were not given upon arrival. The bathroom was very small and the shower in the room barely worked.... Ground floor rooms with "sticks" for security on the windows, I can take care of myself, but with a fairly bad neighbourhood down the street I wouldn't want my Mother or Daughter staying there.
