Highly recommend to everyone to try it out. Returned for a breakfast on New Year day, parking lot was very icey.

Wife went with the daily omelete special, which was very tasty. I had the 2-2-2 breakfast, which worked out well, however the bacon was over done, it basically lost all of it's flavour (never had this before!). Staff memebers were very friendly & very efficient, great atmosphere... We drove here to try out a highly rated spot and enjoyed the food and the service. Very nice pub with a large beer selection and varied menu. The wonton soup was a big hit. The clubhouse was good but a little dry. Fries were not crispy. We will be back. Great place to stop in for a meal, No complaints here with the large servings and great prices I suggest if your in the area it's worth the stop. Everytime we go to visit our relatives in Maple ridge this is amongst one of our favorite stops for eats. Great staff and wide open concept you don't feel crowded in... The Black Sheep Pub is a lunch time favourite wth my friends and I. Great pub fare, a cozy atmosphere, and great service have contributed to my enjoyment of this great local spot.

One of the best pubs in maple ridge. Great food great staff and lots of tv monitors to enjoy the game! A perfect local pub/restaurant, for couples, friends and teams. Always busy, good pub food and sports on tv. Perhaps that last item, does not always makes for 'perfect dining' for an older couple going out, but nevertheless, cozy, loud and comfortable. So I had the prime rib special and others had the ribs- very generous portions and nicely prepared. Love that there are always lots of veggies with the meal! Find the prices very reasonable for what you get and love the ne w addition. So love the Black... “Thoroughly enjoyable lunch date” When in town we go there for lunch with the family. The menu is great & the staff are fast to accommodate and allergy issues. Love the Billy Miner. Food is great, atmosphere is great. Tons of funky beers. We take the kids for breakfast or brunch every once in a while (small family area). Service is hit or miss.... young servers in the family restaurant which seem to forget your order. All in all the billy miner is a favourite Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. This Alehouse + Cafe has a historical charm about it and the location is great as you can see the river and all the action that goes on there as well as the action of the trains going by. There is a large selection of beer - almost too many to choose from if that's possible LOL and the food... Love watching the river from the outside seats. Great pizza and local beers. Great lunch or supper spot. We are quite proud of our little Valoriani Oven from Italy and our great kitchen staff who have mastered using it. And we agree - the view is great. The girls are good with chatting with you or not. The food is pretty darn good! I love the small town feel, makes me feel like I'm back at home. Glad you enjoyed and love the "small town feel" comment. We went to the Billy Miner for my birthday dinner. I'm a summer baby, so we sat at the street side bar on the restaurant side (they also have a pub side, and both have outdoor seating,) and enjoyed drinks and dinner in the sunshine as we watched the river and the boats go by. I had expected the trains... Hockey mom I'm so sorry about the Gluten issue - we usually have gluten free pizza crusts available and I'll follow up to see what went wrong.

If you wanna sit outdoors and watch the trains roll by its pretty cool. The menu itself is limited but the beer is cold and the food is warm. i really love their pizza looks like they have a wood fire oven which is just great make sure you get a fork to eat it because it falls apart right in your hands. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant the staff and very relaxed and very nice i also love the old style of the pub. "Best" might be a bit strong but we'll gladly accept it. Thank you for your enthusiasm. I have started to go to the Billy Miner Pub for the last month on Mondays as they have a great Music Bingo game that has some pretty good prizes. I have tried their poutine a few times and it consistently great. The selection of craft beers they have is very good too! They have half priced poutine dishes on... Thank you for your great review. So we stopped for food and noticed that they fill growlers. Food was okay but when we got home and opened the growler it was only 3/4 filled.
