healthiest option at sushi trainThe service was horrible.... we waited so long for our food. I ordered a salad that never came. I asked for low sodium soy sauce that never came. I asked for extra wasabi that never came. The place is comfortable and beautiful. YesNoReport354Delicious sushi, great service, the kitc ...Delicious sushi, great service, the kitchen is fairly open and it's fun to watch the sushi chefs put everything together. Nice decor and comfy atmosphere for a casual dinner date or dinner with friends.YesNoReport5555It's your average sushi place: americani ...It's your average sushi place: americanized rolls with a ton of cream cheese, mayo and ridiculous names. Service was great and very friendly. Goat cheese salad was the best thing we ate. Veggie godzilla roll was good, but had too much cream cheese in it. Tuna tartare was not good at all; you had to hunt for the avocado. And the tomago was really disappointing. How do you mess up an egg??? It's my vegetarian hubby's favorite, but this basic egg roll tasted like it was stored with fish on it! Our server even asked him if he was vegetarian and he still ended up with tomago that tasted like fish...YesNoReport233Good Sushi SpotMiku is a good, yet not great sushi spot.

The service is attentive and helpful and the sushi is probably above average. Presentation is very nice with attention to detail. I was really hoping to try the Uni, but they did not have it this particular night. I would go back, since it is probably the best sushi option in the Andersonville/Lincoln Square area.YesNoReport4343took a long time but good foodFor the two of us, it took nearly a full 90 minutes to have all our food delivered. Made for a hasty departure because we had to be somewhere, but the sushi was alright, service was friendly. I would rethink the 'iron cups' for hot tea, there's a really strong taste from the cups which isn't pleasant.YesNoReport3333If you missed Tank, you will be excited! We were frequent diners at Tank, so when the owners decided to close it and open something else, we were devastated. We had no idea that Miku would be bringing back so many of the dishes we loved at Tank, such as the Goat Cheese Tempura Salad, Chopstick Rolls, and Ocean Sundae. Our only complaint was that we were freezing seated close to the doors.

Other than that, we were so thrilled that our favorite sushi place was reincarnated!YesNoReport544Sumptuous sushiHaving been regulars at Tank, we were delighted when Miku opened, and even happier when we had our first bite at the 'new' restaurant. We've been back numerous times, and the quality is consistently good. The Miku roll is one of our favorites, and the Flaming Dragon is visually spectacular. You can't go wrong with Latin Heat, Ocean Sundae, or any of the house or signature maki. The Sashimi Matsu is beautifully arranged and filled with a nice assortment. Drinks are good, the edamame hot, and if you still have room, the dessert selections a nice way to wrap up the meal.YesNoReport554Great drink & sake options with generous ...Great drink & sake options with generous happy hours. Very good sushi and some of the best miso soup!YesNoReport433Decent food, not romanticDecent food. Good for a hangout, but not for a really nice evening out.YesNoReport435Miku is a neighborhood gem in Lincoln SquareLincoln Square has no shortage of decent restaurants so to call Miku a neighborhood gem, I really mean it.

The dining room is comfortably spacious, the menu is varied and everything is prepared well and plated beautifully though Miku is a rather casual and laidback place. Would recommend Miku to anyone who likes sushi and is looking for a great meal in a casual but appealing atmosphereYesNoReport545We found this place accidentally but pla ...We found this place accidentally but plan to make it a regular spot. Good sushi at reasonable price. The Ika maki ...The Ika maki and Angry Dragon rolls were delightful! Super quick service tooYesNoReport545They twice forgot about some food in our ...They twice forgot about some food in our order, and service overall seemed like they were short staffed. We went early on a Saturday night when it wasn't too crowded and should have been adequately staffed, so hopefully just an off night.YesNoReport542Slow service, and "creative" sushiTheir version of sushi tastes nothing like real sushi, but it looks very nice. Do not order the banana maki, it's a regular maki wrapped in sweet banana and then deepapple fried, very vey bad idea

Tank has re emerged and it is even better!YesNoReport555Back with a vengeanceFor those who remember Tank Sushi fondly, Miku is it's natural successor with much of the same menu and staff, but with a new owner (a former staff member), and a step up in terms of quality, decor, and presentation. We were all wowed by the visual presentation of the Sashimi Ume and the quality of the fish stood up to it's visual beauty. If rolls are your thing, Miku's rolls are creative and delicious.

YesNoReport544Great addition to neighborhoodWait was kind of long with a reservation, but ended up being worth it.YesNoReport444Not Tank, but still out of the ordinary sushiMiku Sushi, the new resident in the old Tank site, offers and excellent and creative selection of maki. Everything was truly delicious and amply portioned. The small plates are very good also -- but not as abundant in selection as they were under the Tank banner, so there is less interest/choice for dinners who don't "do" sushi. We loved it though, and can't wait to go back.YesNoReport434Solid Sushi, better than its predecessor! My fiance and I had our very first date at Tank and we would come back every year for our anniversary and sit at the same table. We were very happy that a sushi place came back and was owned by people who used to work at tank (and who got married after meeting there apparently). They were hit with a lot of customers but everything was still pretty good. I'm not going to say this is some mind blowing Sushi experience, but it is very solid and fresh and good.

This is the type of place you go to a couple times a month. Some of the rolls are the same as they were when it was Tank Sushi, but that is a GOOD thing IMO. We were missing the Latin Heat and they had it exactly as before. Will be back often. For a change the family went to Miku Sushi for Sunday Brunch! Every plate from the alligator skewers to the Lava maki were unbelievable! This will be an often visited spot for us!YesNoReport555Magnificient Miku Made My DayTank was my go to sushi restaurant in Chicago and so I was incredibly sad when they closed. I am thrilled to say that Miku is now my go to sushi restaurant! The folks behind Miku were brilliant in bringing several of Tank's signature maki rolls to their menu as well as creating some new, creative signature dishes. I can now order up my go to Ocean Sundae and have the pleasure of trying something new like the Flaming Dragon. Wishing you all the best Miku!YesNoReport555Sushi is back in Lincoln Square!Service was great, sushi was fresh and delicious!
