Aguirre is home to some of the legendary chains in the pastries and comfort food business, such as Conti’s and Amalia’s. It’s amazing how one can take a step back and realize the potential of BF Homes is partly due to the success of these well-known establishments. To be honest, it was difficult coming up with this list. The areas of Paranaque, Alabang and Las Pinas City are one of the most challenging cities to conquer when it comes to food tripping, because the place is overloaded with choices.

Its vibrancy and outgoing environment often overshadows the humble, down-to-earth locals of the South. I believe the success of these restaurants is deeply rooted in their family-oriented mindset. If you’re looking for unpretentious, hole-in-the-wall restaurants that will give you the most out of your money, then these restaurants in Aguirre and beyond are for YOU to take note of. Word of warning: this list won’t be filled with well-known food chains, although I could sneak in one or two. If you’re not from the South, you’ll find yourself curious and wonder if it will be worth the long trip to the South. The Southerners can attest to how compelling these restaurants are. A little heads up: I didn’t include restaurants in Cavite and Laguna.
