I haven't been since because of moving. The food used to be a 4 out 5 for quality. Today may have been an off day... But it was quite terrible. The tuna roll was warm and so was the California roll. The tuna was gummy.... If your looking for authentic, good, fresh, sushi and sashimi this is the place. Very small and not much on appearance but great taste and a decent price. The fish is very delicate and tasty. Not an "amercanized" sushi place. This is the real deal. This restaurant recently changed hands and is now Tokyo Sushi Seoul. I almost left after I sat and looked around. Place was dirty, tables not cleaned, food on the floor and on unclean tables.

I got the menu and was confused. Most of the dishes I liked were gone. But I decided to give it a chance. My family tried Korean Chinese foods. They are carefully seasoned and tasted like they are made from scratch. We have heard that the new chef/owner is the one who worked for Chung Ki Wa in Sterling Heights. My husband and I stopped here to grab dinner and we were in and out. The food was good and prices were comparable to most other sushi restaurants. This location has gone under a number of changes over the last ten years but the one thing that has stayed consistent is the quality of food, good service, and cleanliness. The sushi here is better than other restaurants in the area. The Shrimp Tempura Roll, Spring Rolls, Takatsu, Miso Soup, and many other items are very good. I like Tokyo Sushi & Grill. I always get fresh and tasty Sushi. They have a variety of Sushi boats to choose from. I usually order a Sushi Boat with a Sushi Roll or a few pieces of Tuna or Eel Sushi.

Definitely worth paying a buck or two more for the high quality Sushi. Friendly service, clean and comfortable... This is not a fancy restaurant-kind of a small dive-but you won't be disappointed with the food. Like most Japanese/sushi spots, they do not have a kid's menu.
