quality has come down. not exactly cheap anymore. i heard their catering is even worse....anyway, there aren't many good sushi places nearby. First time coming here for lunch after a shopping spree at Metrotown. Best to leave the car at the mall and walk across the street as there's metered parking on Kingsway. We were hungry and thought we ordered enough food. Actually ordered too much. Between the two of us we shared the spicy agadashi tofu and seaweed salad. I usually go there every 2 months. Food is good but service was slow. But there was also some big tables for xmas party. We were in no rush so no big deal . What can I say? I LOVE sushi and sushi garden will not disappoint. Every time I go there it's busy and I love everything I order. I cannot recommend sushi garden more than I do, I always suggest here. My other fave is sushi California. Every time I'm on the west coast, I make it a point to have Sushi and this place always delivers in terms of freshness, variety and for such a great value!

Service was fast and really good food. Food came nice and hot. Parking lot is small, however there is street parking I've visited this place several times now. Never to be disappointed.

The food is excellent, and for a sushi place portions are fantastic. Says it all, when they're lined up at the door at 11:30 to get a spot in the place. So many sushi places are cutting their portions down,,, Not Sushi Garden... Fast,, Friendly, Service,,, and great meal... Excelent Sushi, but not a great service. Our group of 4 had actually dropped by Sushi Garden on Tuesday around 7pm for dinner but the queue was extremely long and since we did not wish to wait as we had a long day, we decided to drop by another day, being today. This place is always packed because of the quality and freshness.

This location is one of 3 in Burnaby. Like the other 2, it's always busy. And for good reasons. The fish is fresh, sashimi and sushi are sliced thick and the price is reasonable. No complains, just good quality food. Their sushi and sashimi has been excellent and this is one of my favorite place to pick up my sushi to go. The girls at the counter were friendly and always smiling to me. After I ordered, they would pleasantly ask me to take a seat on the side, and when the food came, they would call me up. Enjoyed the sashimi and the rolls. Not terribly fancy, good if you're hungry and want to get on with your day. It can get busy and they won't seat 3 or more people unless your whole party is there. Busy place, big room, busy and noisy. Staff is efficient but not overly friendly.
