Borough, Southwark, Waterloo, London Bridge, Holborn, Barbican, Shoreditch, Liverpool Street. This is one of our favourite restaurants in London and we often order their sushi as a treat. It's excellent value, unpretentious and, most importantly, delicious. Serves very good sushi and miso soup. Staff are very nice and friendly. Can't really go wrong. Katsu curry is better down the road on sushi aaki Excellent value and very good quality sushi dishes. Friendly staff, cant comment on home delivery as I've always collected. Someone once told me that defining properly good sushi from the also-rans was a tricky business; the food was so very simple that difference could be measured in tiny percentage points. The house special roll futomaki with a side of miso I will give 100% For a little kitchen on the Blackstock Road, I am amazed at how good this sushi is. I have ordered lunch from here many times on a Friday for a treat and I try to get something new each time.
I have never been disappointed. The price is pretty good too! Vegetarian sushi box is under £11 for a LOAD... one of the better takeaway sushi in the area. Always fresh and arrives quickly. Unfortunately there's no sitting area, but if there was I'd definitely go there. Good for a healthier Sunday take away. Usually takes 50 mins to 1 hour to arrive, but if you can wait it is worth it!geta sushi oaklandQuick service, be sure to leave plenty of time on Friday nights as it can be a long wait, but it is worth it.sushi to go colosio telefono I often get my sushi here as a Friday lunchtime treat. sushi grade tuna louisvilleA value box is ready in about 10 mins. jiro dreams of sushi irvine ca
The vegetarian value box is full of unique little treats! This is our favourite sushi takeaway in London. A delicious menu, helpful staff and very reasonably priced. The black cod is especially good! I've watched it transform from an old man's footie fan's dream where you could wear your colours, grab a pint and chant to your heart's content into a more civilised gastropub type affair. I'm leaving the area so I thought the Barn warranted a final visit and dragged a mate there... We had a lovely evening here served by wonderful waitresses I have a serious issue on realising that the staff DO NOT GET THE TIPS WE LEAVE therefore would probably go elsewhere !!! Very inattentive and dopey bar service. It took a long time to get noticed, never mind served. They also go a simple order wrong.
Very inflexible when given a breakfast order 5 minutes late. Suddenly turned on loud and irritating music at midday, which contributed nothing to what should have been a very good... Our whole office just had our Christmas lunch there, and couldn't have had a nicer time. The food was very tasty, in generous portions, and there was a lot to choose from. It's not easy catering to 16 different tastes, and a couple of people turned up late so were out of sync with everyone else, but the staff coped... its become a poncey pub after all the years of hooligan nights and arsenal fans, better like this , but its ponces not out here , decent beer but high prices, the yups dont mind though , stopped going because a pint is 5 quid now It's very trendy in Sunday's but breakfast is ok not great but over priced. They don't seem to be able to cope with the rush. And I think their prices are fancy restaurants level. It's busy and horrible on match days but they are dog friendly.
So if you fancy nice but expensive Sunday breakfast over the papers with you... The Barn hosted my wedding reception in May and it was a m a z I n g. The staff could not have been friendlier. The chef, Steph, did an incredible menu. And Tony, the manager, went above and beyond from six in the morning until the small hours to create the perfect day. Nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous looking pub with great food. We had a great meal served by really friendly staff. I would recommend to pork belly, lovely. Sadly I have to write that this visit was very poor. We have had Sunday lunch here quite a few times and enjoyed it but this time terrible. There were three adults and two children, one of us decided to try the lamb shank and it was as tough as old boots. We complained and were offered beef or chicken... Highbury Barn has it all. Then you'll love Godfreys, La Fromagerie, Meek & Wild and Da Mario (there's even a Greggs).3 dry cleaners, 2 newsagents, 2 cafes, 1 pub, a chippy (seriously irregular opening times), a pharmacy and a greasy spoon.
