I Have never been disappoint eating at La Gitana. Best Pizza in Thurston County. Was this review useful to you?YesNoReport5454The best wood fired pizza this side of t ...The best wood fired pizza this side of the world. I also love the live local music on the weekends.YesNoReport5555Best oven fired pizza in Olympia area. Best oven fired pizza in Olympia area. YesNoReport545Gluten-free pizza good but could be betterLast Saturday my girlfriend and I went to listen to the music. I booked a table on-line but the table in the back work. The owner saw that we were leaving because we didnt like the table so gave us a better table closer to the front. We were pleased and decided to stay. We order the gluten-free pizza and a side salad and two different glasses of wine. The wine was good and the salad better than average. The balsamic vinegar was excellent. It was very busy and we had to wait 45 minutes for our tiny pizza. The crust was a bit over done and close to burnt.
The sauce was bland and flavorless. The toppings were delicious, especially the artichokes. We asked for table cheese to add some flavor to the tasteless sauce and received a small plate of grated parm that was flavorless and I was charged $1.50 extra which is really not appropriate and smacks of cheapness. It should be in shaker jar and free. Overall the experience was fun, but too expensive and must be just for special occasions.YesNoReport2442Music was overwhelming and much too loud ...Music was overwhelming and much too loud. We would it go back on a night when there is music.Food was pretty good.YesNoReport444Great food and waitstaffRecommend this place for sure. Waitstaff is very attentive and friendly, knowledgable. Food is first rate and what I like most is gluten-free options. One of my favorite spots.YesNoReport5555Great pizza, great for groupsI really enjoyed my experience here. I called an hour prior to my reservation to see if I could add two more people and they accommodated us, no problem.
From the moment we arrived to the final bill, we felt at times like we the only people in there. The staff was attentive, thoughtful and very quick. Friday nights when the music starts it gets really busy, so if in a hurry, get there by 6:30.YesNoReport5554I love this place. bine great food with wondrous music and what could go wrong? Well, like I said, it can be a bit noisy and the music gets lost. I know there's not much one can do about that. It never stops me from coming in and having a wonderful experience. I haven't had pizza this good since my travels in Italy!YesNoReport5555The best in downtown Olympia!Great pizza and salads with quality ingredients, good wine list, beautiful desserts, striking art, weekend entertainment -- certainly not your ordinary pizza parlor.YesNoReport555Always great pizzaOur group had a great time drinking wine and eating their great thin-crust pizza. But the servers seemed to be stretched too thin.YesNoReport544ServiceThe Wednesdat night we were there, you didn't have enough servers to handle the crowd of people.
YesNoReport432Exceptional ServiceWe had the best time ever because of the exceptional service and creative, flavorful flatbread type pizzas. The server had great suggestions for food and drinks. I really enjoyed the basil martini, it was wildly fresh and delicious. The care they take in finding the highest quality ingredients is obvious in everything they serve. The live music was a treat also! You need reservations though, definitely a hot spot!sushi grade salmon scarboroughYesNoReport555One of our all-time favorite restaurants ...sushi girl 2012 online subtitrateOne of our all-time favorite restaurants. sushi girl 2012 online subtitrateSuch great food, great restaurant and always great service.umi sushi menu westlake village
YesNoReport5554Exceptional QualityThis place is so good and the food quality so high you would waste your time going anywhere else for pizza. Unless you like greasy conveyor belt pizza that is. This is authentic, delicious, real Italian pizza at a very reasonable price. Great management means the whole experience is well above average. This was exactly what we were looking for after a long day. Everyone working there was super friendly and attentive. where to buy sushi grade fish in naperville ilThe craft beer was cold, water glasses stayed full, the salad was abundant and fresh and the pizza... sushi conveyor belt nashvilleThin, crisp slightly smoky crust, just the right amount of toppings; I've been craving another ever since!! I live in Seattle and now look for reasons to drive to Olympia, just to go to La Gitana.
Maybe a trip to La Gitana is enough of a reason! Was greeted right away and was 'wowed' until the very end. Great pizza and nice environment. YesNoReport555Great service and pizza! Was in Olympia for an event a few weeks ago and came upon this gem in the downtown district of Olympia. Great service, good food (the appetizers were delicious) and the woodfire pizza was really good. I was impressed with this find!Game time is upon us. The Richter scale sits ready to gauge the rumbling at CenturyLink Field. As we speak, bars are chilling hundreds of blue and green Jell-O shots. Restaurants are littering sidewalks with sandwichboards hawking $12 food specials. It’s an FD & C haze of Skittles- and Seahawks-colored drinks and dishes. To help you out, here are 12 of the best 12th-Man deals. Bar Sue offers $1 Rainier Beer and, when the home team scores, $1 Skittles-infused vodka shots. For sustenance while watching the game on the giant projector, get a $6 basket of chicken strips and fries.
Bait Shop offers $2 to $3 bar snacks like taquitos and tacos, plus $5 drink specials. If the Seahawks lose, happy hour goes all night for you to drown your sorrows with $2 bluebottle Bud Lights. All five Tutta Bella locations are selling their certified-Neapolitan-style 12-inch pizzas for $12 on game day, meaning a savings of up to $3.50 for 12th people everywhere (and maybe they’ll spell out “12” on your pie in basil leaves like in the promo photo). The game’s on at all five outlets, with big screens in Wallingford and Bellevue; reservations accepted and recommended. For a civilized Pioneer Square game-day brunch, go to Matt Dillon’s airy, high-ceilinged Bar Sajor, where the menu tends toward the likes of wood-fired frittata with sheep’s milk feta cheese, mushrooms (foraged, most likely) and fresh herbs for $16. Ten Sushi on Lower Queen Anne is a better-than-average conveyor-belt place, and all day on game day, it’s got a half-dozen better-than-average specials, like five bottles of Sapporo, Bud Light or Corona for $12, or the 12th Man Roll with king salmon, cream cheese and cucumber for $2.45 (plus the game on TV, of course).
Blue C Sushi offers its version of the 12th Man Roll ($2.12) with smoked salmon, along with other Seahawks rolls, available only this Friday through Sunday at all six Seattle-area locations (and only the branch at Alderwood mall in Lynnwood will not have the game on). You know you’re in Seattle when you hit Capitol Cider and find a game-day menu for Seahawks fans who are on a gluten-free diet. “Russell Sprouts,” a spinach-and-blue-cheese burger and more are featured on its “Blue/Green” menu, with three big TVs showing the game. Bookstore Bar & Café serves the Throat Lozenge cocktail (Ballantine’s whiskey, lemon juice, Chartreuse and honey syrup) to enable all the shouting. The happy-hour menu goes all day, and those under 21 can catch the game in the dining room. With all the Skittles-infused shots and cocktails, you knew it would come to this: Skittles IPA from Foggy Noggin Brewing. And everything else in between The Hard Rock Cafe is the only place in town where you can admire Jimi Hendrix’s man-purse and watch the playoffs, via a big-screen projector and on personal TVs at every booth.
