In Norway we were shocked at the very high prices to eat basically everywhere. Sushi home was within budget and did very good sushi. It is only a small place with only a couple of seats so is more of a take away but food is fresh and made to order. It is also close to the water front so... Recently, I returned to Sushi Home, my favorite sushi place in Bergen, to find a new layout and new owners. They still serve sushi but not with the same rice recipe. Small take-away place near Nøstebukten. Perfect for lunch if you live or work nearby. Good quality for the price, and very friendly staff. Conveniently located near the city centre of Bergen. Good selection in maki rolls, sashimi and nigiri. Went there for takeway and ordered a samurai combo. Good service and delivery on time, the sushi was good and priceworthy, but there are other options in the same price range in Bergen that are better. Home sushi is a Japanese restaurant locating right in front of the new parking place.

That's around 3 minutes walking from centrum traffic school or 7 minutes from McDonalds, which is in down town Bergen. The place itself is very tiny, just enough space to wait for your take out order. But you can eat there if you want it.... The place to go for real Japanese Sushi and maki rolls, small place with a few seats and mainly take-out business, definitively the real thing. No alcohol here - I had a soda and and later an ice cream from down the... I love love this place! Everything was so delicious and there was a great, intimate vibe about the place. Todos os restantes que experimentei deixavam muito a desejar. Arroz em papa ou produtos sem sabor e com frescura duvidosa. Algo que me fez desistir de comer Sushi há muito tempo. O que conheço de bom é caro e só muito ocasionalmente posso voltar. Embora não seja propriamente "experiente" em comida sushi, foi provavelmente dos melhores sushi's que já comi até hoje, tendo mesmo repetido pouco tempo depois. Sugiro, no entanto, que vão lá buscar à loja porque assim recebem mais uma caixinha de oferta (penso que comprando mais de 20 euros em sushi tb), mas que é bem bom também!how to make sushi rice pot O sushi é ótimo, sempre super fresco e saboroso. Sugeri este restaurante a amigos para um jantar de grupo que pretendiamos fazer, cerca de 8 pessoas e decidimos experimentar. Pedimos umas 9 doses variadas e ainda nos ofereceram mais 2 ou 3 de hot rolls tambem eles variados. Sou megã fã deste serviço, desde que abriu, quando como sushi peço aqui. Tem uma variedade fantástica e a qualidade TOP. Vale a pena encomendar lá. Um serviço profissional, e com o verdadeiro sabor do sushi de fusão. A entrega em casa geralmente é rápida, mas se la formos buscar, ainda melhor. Atendimento podia ser um pouco mais simpático na loja, porque o pessoal das entregas é muito simpático e educado. Este restaurante não serve refeições, devemos por isso encomendar e pedir para entregar em casa ou passar pela loja e levantar o pedido! Por norma vamos sempre buscar o nosso pedido a loja pois se assim for oferecem-nos 10 hot-rolls... E que bons que sai.... Peças pequenas peixe fresco e muito saborosas... Já não é a primeira vez que encomendamos sushi o menu de fusão que é muito bom.em termos de qualidade de variedade e de sabor.

The sushi we had was very delicious , also the soups and the presentation of our food was wonderful. To first sight this place seem to be ordinary sushi bar. We ordered tuna salad and 12 nigiri sushi mix. Especially I'd recommend seabass, butterfish and tuna sushi. Never tried such a fresh fish ever. Four chefs work hardly for preparing lots of sushi rolls realy mouth watering. They are so delicious indeed. The waiters are careful and nice. The prices are absolutely convenient.
