We booked a table for 12 for a birthday. Opentable wouldnt let us book more than 6, so we made two separate bookings for 6 and called the restaurant ahead of time to let them know both reservations were under the same group. They assured us they would be able to accommodate the seating for 12. When we arrived at 6:50 for our reservation at 7pm, they seemed surprised. They whipped two tables together outside for our large group, unfortunately on one of the hottest days of the week, as temperatures soared past 100 degrees. We explained that it was quite hot outside and inquired if there was any indoor seating. Other than sweating and burning up outside, we had a great time. The only advice I would have is; if someone made a reservation weeks in advance and if a table is larger than 10 and they are being charged gratuity, it's almost polite business sense to assure that they do not have to sit outside miserably in the heat.

I would give it 6 out of 10 in taste - I've had better in many places in the Valley... The BAD thing I can recall was that they gave us the WRONG dish and it had to be replaced... that's a first ! They seem to be in quite a mess that night - over booked probably. Another bad thing was that I felt their PRICES were a bit too high for that quality. We tried many dishes - nothing was amazing or high quality sushi like you can find in other places in Sherman Oaks & Encino - so why charge MORE ? Last good point was that some dishes came REALLY BIG ! I mean , so big you cannot fit one piece in your mouth... you have to eat half. This never happened to me before... So that's good as you get more for that price you pay. All in all - good place !
