This is a cozy restaurant located in Lake Mary that has always been consistent for us. We normally just get the Sushi rolls and haven't really gone beyond that. Prices are about average I would say for Sushi and the taste of the food is good too. The atmosphere is very nice and I would recommend dining in versus doing... Decided on Sushi for the night and came in during happy hour after work. We were greeted upon entering and seated right away. Our order was placed shorty after and we waited for our food. It seemed like forever, but it was well worth the wait. The food was amazingly good and the price was even better. Samurai Sushi is located in a small shopping mall in Lake Mary, Florida and is a reliable destination for an enjoyable Japanese dinner. The dinner menu offers multiple options including twenty plus appetizers, eleven salads, soups, teriyaki, tempura, katsu, noodles & rice, thirty-three Regular Roll/Hand Rolls and an impressive thirty-nine Signature Rolls.

Although we have dined at Samurai on numerous...The food is always delicious and service is very good. Can be pricey especially since the rolls have gotten smaller over the years. Recommend the Rock and Roll, St Patrick's, Tokyo, and the Bomb. Food ranged from average to above average, service could use some work, but if you are in the area and want sushi, it's worth considering. Going to lunch we see a Sushi Place and decide to go there instead of the normal sandwich place. We go in and the decor is pretty good sets a great ambiance. We are told that we can sit wherever we like and we pick a booth. After sitting down we wait for like approximately 5 mins for a waiter... Every time I'm in Lake Mary, Fl I go here for sushi..I end up going there in the early evening and it happy hours. (check times for happy hours) I just got lucky. I went here by myself this time, but have been here many times for business gathering and everyone loves this place. Sushi is very good...

My co-workers and I ordered 3 lunches consisting of a shrimp tempura bento box lunch (just 3 or 4 shrimp). No flavor at all. It was served with fried rice and salad (in the same box), and a miso soup that tasted like salt water...We also had a vegan lunch with some oozing type of mushy tofu, along with tempura... First time at Samarai Sushi and we were pleasantly surprised to find this great place so close to us. Service was outstanding, decor and atmosphere are better than many of these strip mall restaurants. Loved our rolls, can't wait to go back Like do many so called Japanese want to be restaurants this one is only passable as compared to Japanese restaurants in Japan, Jakarta , Korea , and Taipei. This is a restaurant run by Chinese imitating as much as possible the Japanese style , however it falls flat . The quality of sushi has gone downhill over last couple years. We had poor quality food early in year and decided to give it a try again. The service was wonderful but the roll quality was not.
