Our 7 year old loved it as well. We eat a lot of Japanese and this would be second on our list after Morimoto in Hawaii.... I wanted to take a friend to a special place for his birthday. This place fulfilled all the criteria for that. The service was welcoming and caring; the food was superb; the table had spectacular riverside views and the ambiance was elegant. BTW, I also had the chocolate cake and it was amazing -... We had been recommended the Toothfish, however it was not on the menu when we went. The waiter suggested other dishes to try and mostly they were tasty and different to traditional Japanese fair. The Popcorn Prawns were excellent and the assorted tempura plate was light and tasty.
