The title encompasses pretty much all I have to say about this place. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the sushi and sashimi as such, it was little more than fish and rice. Whilst the sashimi was fresh, unlike other sushi I have tried, the rice tasted unseasoned and overly hard (a bit like supermarket stuff). I've definitely had better... If you want to contract food poisoning then this is the place to go. 4 of us ordered 4 chicken currys, which then came like a chicken fillet with a tiny amount of sauce. As we were eating the chicken we noticed that part of it wasn't actually cooked, it was practically still breathing. We then went on to complain... We visit here fairly often, as it's one of the best places in Newcastle for sushi and sashimi. Not as cheap as some others, and you need to get a bunch of plates (unless you get a bento or set plate) but it is always fresh and delicious. The St Sushi ISO is a favourite.
