If you are looking for the authentic sushi and Japanese dishes made by a Japanese chef, this is the right place for you. The exterior and the interior of the restaurant makes you feel like you are invited to a Japanese-style home! So sit down, relax, and drink a cup of Japanese green tea. There is a counter where they place all the fresh fish, so if you order from the chef, he will make your very own sushi in front of you! It’s quite a show. Not only that, they have lunch menus that you can order that are good in quantity and quality with a low price.

2 fresh sushis are from 2.5 euros and the lunch menus are from 8.5 euros. If you go to dinner, it can cost a bit more, so make sure to bring extra cash! Chinese cuisine – Zhou Yulong Plaza de España, s/n, 28005 Madrid Lots of places are described as “underground” because they’re not well known, or are only for the locals. Zhou Yulong is both figuratively and literally underground. This small, authentic Chinese restaurant is located underneath Plaza de España! Once you get off the metro, cross over onto the plaza and look for the stairs leading to the parking garage. You won’t see any big sign for the restaurant, just two Chinese characters on the parking garage sign. Go downstairs, and you can’t miss it. If you go at lunchtime there may be a line, but it’s worth the wait. The dumplings and sweet potato noodles are their specials, and are delicious. If you really want the authentic Chinese experience, forget your caña de Mahou and try the Chinese beer Tsingtao with your meal.

For about 6€ you can get a main dish and a drink, for two dishes and a drink you’ll pay around 10€. Two dishes is a lot of food, so make sure you’re hungry if you want to try a variety of things. Zhou Yulong is cash only, so don’t forget to stop by the bank first! Egyptian cuisine – El Gran Cairo Calle de Moratín, 19, 28014 Madrid Are you looking for something special in Madrid? You should visit Lavapiés to feel the multicultural vibe of Madrid. There you can have a nice lunch at egyptian restaurant El Gran Cairo. This place has authentic design and delicious food.
