My one friend always has to comment: "They use the 'good' rice." This was our first time here -- but won't be the last. Only two concerns: Closed on Sunday and Monday and we normally go to Kailua/Lanikai on Sundays. Sad that we can't eat there when we normally visit. The soy sauce wasn't Kikoman. You don't feel rushed. There's a lot to choose from but I always order the Udon lunch box. The California roll is fresh and the various nigiri is fantastic. We always have a good experience here. I had a big platter for $40. It had squid, tuna, salmon, eel, egg and octipus. The mock crab rolls and daikon rolls were very so so. Tuna, eel and squid... Food is very good price is cheap for japanese food but the place is to small and close to the hotel. I just happened to frequent this place as i stayed at the Ohana Airport Hotel more often. the attitude of the counter salesperson at this place is very accommodating to say the least. Service and minimal time waiting for your food. their sushi are just as good as the other famous places in Waikiki and Honolulu. Fresh sushi and friendly staff-- Order the Superman roll and don't forget to sign-up for their free birthday rewards. We took a group of 8 here after a tour at the nearby harbor. We had several allergies (gluten, dairy, nuts and seafood!) to manage and the staff did a wonderful job of not only being accommodating, but actually offering up other options that would work for our variety of eaters. The food was amazing and reasonably priced.

Price was better than all the surrounding japanese restaurants. This place was quite busy with steady folks coming in. Many folks were military in uniform and airline/airport workers from nearby offices. Lunch was good for fast food type sushi and convenient location in Airport Trade Center. Upto two hours free parking available with validation. Please remember to have Ninja validate parking ticket. I stayed at the Best Western airport hotel, and Ninja Sushi was only 5 minutes walking distance.
