After a long day Saturday, I checked TripAdvisor for restaurant recommendations in the area. I was interested in Chinese or Japanese cuisine. Some of the listings closed early, others did not seem like what I wanted. I read about ICHIBAN and, considering that they were close... Food is excellent, normal portions. Service is good and fast, despite near to full house. The fish for the sushi and sashimi is fresh. The only slight comment would be they sliced my mochi up into two pieces while serving. Would have preferred it as one whole piece to keep the ice cream from melting.

Maybe it's not the same as the few sushi places I have been to in NYC or Fort Lee or Hoboken, but it's close enough. I went with some of my colleagues from work during lunch, and let me tell you, everyone liked it. It's located in a strip mall, so the location and ambiance is not the greatest, but... We've tried them all and there is just no comparison to Ichiban. Fresh delicious fish and the most artistic presentation we've seen on any Japanese restaurant. I could go on and on.
