They were quite powerful and I struggled on the second. We decided to get a mixture of street food the first night and it was beautiful. Really fast and for dessert I had birthday churros... Had booked a table for 6 people in advance. Turned up a few minutes early and our table was ready. Drinks took a while to be brought over after ordering (we had to chase drinks and extra water glasses), but otherwise all was great. Waitress was very friendly and helped to chase drinks, plus all food was brought quite quickly.... Apologies for the mix up with the order, we've done a bit of extra training to avoid it happening again. Hopefully it didn't put you off visiting again. We enjoyed a good selection from the street food menu - 8 dishes between three people. Everyone had a different favourite dish!
We particularly enjoyed the black bean and cheese quesedillas, the plantain tacos and the sweet potato & feta taquitos. Prices were reasonable for what we ate - the portions were generous for a tapas type dish. That's great to hear, I'll pass your kind words on to Marcell. If you didn't try it during your last visit I'd suggest the chilli quesadilla, a mix of sautéed chillis and feta cheese. We hope to see you again soon. I've visited this restaurant twice recently. The food is amazing. Love the street food menu with many delicious vegetarian options. Not cheap but worth the money for such a good choice. Service was swift and friendly too. I'd heard good things about this place, but was pretty disappointed. It seemed like everything I ate lacked flavour/seasoning and by the end of the meal I was just eating it because it was a shame to waste the (pretty expensive) food. The quesadillas (I tried the chicken ones and the chilli ones) were especially tasteless - the chilli one... Oh no, it sounds like the dishes you had really weren't up to scratch. All of our dishes are prepared fresh and should be great value and bursting with flavour. It would be great if you could drop me an email at ben@wahaca.co.uk so that I can look into what went wrong. I was told about this place through a recommendation so I had high expectations of the food as a whole. I normally go for tapas dishes where you can try a little of everything and share. I normally go to another tapas restaurant based in Westfield and so I wanted to give this one a fair go. I'm sorry to hear that the dishes you had didn't wow you.

We had never visited either Westfield Stratford or a Wahaca before and that day was obviously not the best for both of them. Cold, dark and pouring with rain, we were amazed to find out that we had to go OUTSIDE to get to this restaurant! A fantastic location to put people... Try out lots of different appetizers and share it with the one you are with. This food is really nice and tasteful bites that will challenge your mouth and it look absolutely delicious. Ask for assistance if you feel a little unfamiliar in the ordering process but try to get a lot og different things that you can share as...
