Pepenero is situated in East London’s dynamic Royal Docks and offers a variety of authentic and delicious Italian cuisine. We pride ourselves in using the finest and freshest ingredients to cook authentic and innovative Italian food, served to you in our sophisticated and vibrant atmosphere. For those nights you prefer to stay indoors, we can deliver your favourite Pepenero Italian dishes to the comfort of your own home. We only use, where possible, locally sourced fresh ingredients to offer classic Italian recipes with the addition of a number of more modern house specialities. Our pizzas are based on a traditional Neapolitan recipe to which we then add exciting and innovative toppings. Italians never rush their food and we have created an environment which encourages you to take a long leisurely lunch or dinner. Walnut floors, subdued lighting, rich red fabrics and floor-to-ceiling windows create a cool and contemporary aesthetic without being austere. We believe in working with our neighbours and use local bakers, green grocers and butchers, where possible, for our ingredients. All out suppliers are within a 4 mile radius of our kitchens. Part of our Local Community We work with local charities for redistributing our unsold items each day. We hire our team from the local area and all our sandwiches are made by hand - no machines - therefore keeping people in work. SandwichMan is zero waste to landfill. We keep our waste to a minimum and use biodegradeable or recycled packaging where possible. We recycle rain water to wash our vehicles and keep our bikes clean. We need more rain!!
