Disney UK and YO! Sushi have partnered in a deal that will attempt to further Disney’s social responsibility efforts and YO! sushi online tiefgefroren bestellenSushi’s growth plans ahead of a mooted sale for the sushi chain.mac sushi kiss finishSushi’s growth plans ahead of a mooted sale for the sushi chain.buy sushi grade fish marylandSushi is looking to expand its customer base and target children by introducing a healthy kids menu of six bento boxes which will launch in early January in the UK.sushi machen online game The menu is inspired by Disney’s new animated film Big Hero 6 which is set in fictional “San Fransokyo” and has a strong Japanese influence.
The chain says it is a “significant” investment and the biggest collaboration it has entered into of its kind to date. Kate Crossfield, marketing manager for YO! Sushi told Marketing Week, “We’re thrilled to welcome the next generation of YO! Sushi customers through our doors,” reflecting the chain’s efforts to target new customers and occasions. Earlier this year, the chain launched a campaign in an attempt to appeal to kids, and has trialed a breakfast offering in airports. The deal comes alongside news that the sushi chain has appointed Liz Norris, former global marketing director for Le Pain Quotidien, as its first creative brand director, with an aim to drive growth for the chain both in the UK and internationally. The company, which was founded in 1997 and was the first to bring Japanese “kaiten” sushi bars featuring conveyor-belt style sushi to the UK, expanded to the US earlier in the year in an effort to increase its value ahead of a potential sale.
Owners Quilvest, an equity firm, are reportedly seeking a buyer for the chain, which is believed to be valued at around £120m.Sushi currently has 87 restaurants worldwide – 76 in the UK and 11 across Dublin, Norway, Bahrain, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and in the US. For Disney, the deal is part of a push to use its assets in social responsibility campaigns. In June, the company lent its famous Mickey Mouse and Sully characters to Public Health England’s anti-obesity Change4Life drive. Disney also recently launched the “Star Wards Rebels Kids’ Pak” in Subway restaurants as a way to offer lower fat and healthier choices for kids, having used this strategy with children’s films in the past. Anna Hill, chief marketing officer for Disney UK and Ireland, told Marketing Week, “As part of our global commitment to inspire families to lead healthier lives, working with carefully chosen partners in this space is part of our approach.” The deal was developed by Disneymedia+, the integrated ad sales, promotions and marketing solutions arm of Disney UK & Ireland.
Sushi will push the partnership through a co-branded TV, digital, PR, social media and in-store campaign across its 76 YO! Sushi restaurants in the UK, while both the restaurant chain and Disney will run teasers on their social and online platforms. The film will be released in UK cinemas 30 January 2015. I have been to this Yo! Sushi a lot and have always enjoyed it, the staff are good and quick and can't complain for the prices that you have to pay. My husband and I have been coming here for years, we came when I was pregnant & now we come as a family, we all love it. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about their food, very attentive and friendly. Some of the items in the yo! formal restaurants aren't available here because it's in the middle of the atrium. Have been twice now and both times the service was so bad. The first time we went to the metro on the way to the airport (giving our selves plenty of time ) until we went for food we went first and where in there 1hr and 25 minutes !
I couldn't believe it. After being told we couldn't sit... 20 Minutes for a poorly made hand roll... service is amazingly slow despite not being very busy.... much better in town.. They realised there was no sea bass after we had waited 30 + minutes To be fair ... manager took 50% off bill .... poor experience never the same ... We normally pop in before the cinema and usually enjoy it. This time when we arrived we ordered our ususal favorites, but no squid, no problem we asked for next item, sorry not available, asked for third item and guess what not available. We left if you can't provide a full menu on a Saturday night I will take my... First attempt and from walking in a tremendous experience . Staff ( three different ) were excellent . Food really good , tried new things and even though all were not to my taste was excellent and quickly served . Will be going for a second attempt as so much to choose from We were shopping at intu metro center and walked into yo sushi for dinner.
Service was swift and efficient. Hubby ordered a chicken katsu curry upsized to sumo size. Bowl is huge but the bowl was approximately half filled. I think a sumo wrestler would possibly need at least 30 bowls of these supposedly sumo sized rice bowls to fill... My husband and I had lunch here having eaten at the Newcastle branch a week earlier. The choice on the belt was extensive compared to Newcastle and they had my favourite dish - salmon & yuzu tartar - available to order, unlike Newcastle. The staff were lovely and very attentive but food ordered from the menu was slow to come.... Do you remember when it was said 'the customer is always right'? Well, try telling that to the staff at Gateshead Yo! We we there yesterday, and I signed up, online to get a discount. The code didn't come through so we had to pay the full bill price, as we left we saw there was a card you... We visited here for blue plate Monday. There is a good range of dishes on the offer making it worth a visit.
