Sashimi @ Ginza Sushi Ichi Green Tea @ Ginza Sushi Ichi The tea thing started soon after I first discovered green teas – initially I was happy with the bags I could buy at mythen I started buying them from the Chinese cash and carry. ‘Progressing’ to loose leaf, I eventually started to order speciality teas from the Internet - I now buy most of my tea from Rare Rea Company or TWG (when in Singapore) and can no longer drink “the cheap stuff”. Of course, a ‘smart kettle’ is a must purchase too. by KanesakaGinza Sushi IchiDiners were left shocked when their raw fish jumped off the plate just as they began to eat their meal of fresh sashimi. In a clip, the fish can be seen lying on the plate before its fin begins to shake. The shocking footage has attracted a surprising large audience, with over 20 million people viewing it on the Chinese social media site Weibo. Don't get me wrong, I like the staff at Sushi Tei. However, what bothers me is the constant increase in prices while quality slips. The last straw was the charge of $1.20 for tea which was previously free. The steak has gotten so thin that it breaks apart once you slice it with a knife. Come on, it is time... I was so happy that they open a new outlets at Tiong Bahru plaza because i stay nearby.I'm a member of Sushi Tel restaurant since 2013. Until now i still like their vinegar ginger we always ask for refill. All their sushi roll are very nice, especially 1 dish i forgot the name the gravy was so delicious the rice cover... My family likes Sushi Tei but different outlets have inconsistent standards. Sushi Teh Paragon is one of our favourites. Wider range of variety and cooked food compared to other conveyor belt sushi places.
Gets very crowded so it's good to go there early. Here for and work and slipped out for quick lunch bite. Nice to have sushi rolls not using Mayo to hold it together. Very nice rice but dull atmosphere. The sushi rolls are nice, the gyoza is okay but the sashimi was delicious. Pair with green tea and edamame and you're good to go. I do enjoy sushi teh and find them to be the best among all the franchise/branches Japanese restaurants out there. They maybe costlier but the quality is there. Problem is the waiting time during peak hours.. I've been going to Sushi Tei for quite a few years now. It's always been top of my mind when I'm craving Japanese food. Price is ok and quality is good. They often have seasonal menus, variety is nice. Good Japaneses food with options of being served or getting it of the conveyor . It is always crowded and may have a wait time at lunch. Amazing Chocolate Ice Cream made with Royce Chocolate is a must try for chocoholics Does not feel like a Japanese restaurant at all.
