Have been here 2 times, so its about time I write a review for this place. Not an AYCE place, therefore my expectations were slightly higher than the average AYCE. This is an A-OK place, nothing remarkable or exceptional. Price is higher obviously. Beef tataki, thick cut sliced. BBQ grilled squid, there was no teriyaki or bbq sauce on it. We ordered the party tray including sashimi and sushi. The sushi pieces had a nice clean cut, no rice sticking out or anything. sushi cape town deliverysashimi pieces were thicker than anticipated.  where to buy sushi grade fish in laService was slow because they didn’t have enough servers. how to make nigiri sushi step by step
There was approximately 5-8 tables during dinner on a Monday evening with only 2 servers. So service was not attentive. When we first arrived, had to ask for water, it wasn’t serve without asking after sitting down for over 10 mins. Had to call server a few times because I guess they were not use to having 5-8 tables for an evening. I had a Groupon which I used $60 value and it came off the total price. The weird thing was they literally told us to tip the original price of over $100…seriously, any regular groupon user knows that. ichiban sushi menu king stTips actually mean an add-on appreciation for servers being awesome, not a mandatory piece, that was a turn-off for me.  yo sushi dubai media cityWhen the service and food and everything is awesome, I have tipped over 30%, so please be more appreciative…how to make sushi rice from long grain

Markham residents and food bloggers Jessy and Will of Markham Food started reviewing the York Region food scene in 2014. They also curate the #markhamfood hashtag on Instagram — encouraging users to spread the word of eating locally. But the real charm of this GTA city? It's perfect for any sweet tooths out there."A lot of people come to Markham for dessert because you can find anything from traditional Chinese desserts to soft serve and egg waffles," Jessy tells The Huffington Post Canada. Kalamarakia at Ithaca Restaurant (Photo: Chris C.) Over the last few years, Jessy says not only has the food scene been changing, but there are a lot more trendier spots for ramen, brunch, Japanese cheesecake and other novelty desserts. And while most of the population in Markham and Unionville (a community within Markham) is eating at these restaurants, Jessy says it would be great for more Toronto residents to come out and try the cuisine. Another great aspect of eating in Markham is that you don't necessarily have to go to pricey restaurants or wait for a table.

Chefs are in front of you. Amazing Bento Boxes and Sashimi.Very friendly service. Good choice if Sushi and food not too heavy, delightful. This is my go to restaurant for a la carte or for quick take out to binge at home. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. The food is fresh and I usually order rolls or a bento. The dining room is fairly large but it can seem crowded if it's dinner time on the weekends.
Hands down the best prices and best tasting sushi in the GTA! I've been going to Gal's for years and years, love getting a seat at the sushi bar where I can see the sushi chefs work their magic. The A7 platter is a great value! Super fresh, very flavorful. I enjoyed sushi here. Staff is efficient even though it gets very busy. I believe this is Korean-Japanese restaurant, but the sushi is pretty good. I went here right after coming back from Japan and didn't feel let down. I hope the quality remains the same in case I visit in the future! I ordered the lunch roll box and I did not like it at all. The sushi was not very fresh and they were made very poorly. There were four different kinds of sushi. Two types of sushi basically contained a paste of some sort and did not taste good at all. The other two types were a little better but... The food is quite reasonable and it is served very quickly. It was not the best sushi I've ever ate, but is was very reasonable.
