The service was quick and sort of friendly. I would go back again. There are a lot of Japanese restaurants in Port Coquitlam so they could provide a bit friendlier service. Heard from a few people that it was a good restaurant , so took my wife there for our anniversary. We must have gone on an off night. The sushi was big , but everything on it seemed frozen not fresh. Now we live 20 minutes away but will still visit from time to time because the food is good, the staff are friendly and the cost is very reasonable. We have never been disappointed.We ordered a variety of sushi rolls. Deep fried, cooked and raw. They were all very good. The rolls are large and very filling. Presentation and service was excellent. Prices are very good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We would return and keep trying different rolls, so many to choose from. I tried most things on their menu. They often give me something extra, so I learned not to order too much. Slipped into a favourite little Sushi place. These folks are so kind, they always treat us like special guests. Decor is charming with both booths and tables. Food is tasty and presented nicely. We flip back and forth between this spot and Kisoya (across the street). Prices are comparable, Villlage doesn't seem to do black rice where the other does. Village has lots of different combinations, and for take out orders over $30, you receive a free go go roll.

Last Friday was my second visit to Sushi K Kamizato. Circumstances have forced a "staycastion" and I wanted to at least begin it with a bang but not blow the budget. I was tired too from a ten hour last day of work and didn't want to travel into Vancouver. And then I remembered this quirky intimate place with great... One was an assortment of sashimi and sushi. The chef came to introduce the assortment. This very small Sushi restaurant in Port Coquitlam is family run and delicious. It is my favourite sushi restaurant in the entire lower mainland. The food is fresh and delicious. the green tea is beautifully done.
