If you go to Sushi Tei, it is always advisable to avoid the belt and order from the menu - there is a huge selection and they get marks for some of the innovative sushi dishes (they had a range of sushi which incrporated truffle last time we were there) but... The meals were of decent portion and pricing is reasonable. Presentation was nicely done for the meals. I have been to sushi tei at Tampines One numerous times and the portion and taste has always been consistent. Had the Salmon Don on my last visit, the salmon were thick cuts which was great. Service was good as well. I have eaten at several Sushi Tei outlets and must say, that despite being a franchaise, the quality of food throughout the 3 different outlets I have visited have been consistent and very good.
