The restaurant itself is very large and has an industrial feel to it. Much of the kitchen action’s visible in the open concept restaurant that still wasn’t fully finished when we visited. Kagura’s one of the latest in a lengthening parade of new Japanese eateries in Calgary, staffed by servers who take their tasks seriously in convivial fashion.
