sushi takeout burnaby

Sushi S Japanese Restaurant is a Burnaby locale offering a variety of tasty sushi options. Sashimi, nigiri, donburi, tempura, rolls, and maki make up just a portion of our menu. Delicious, delightful, and ssssso good! “The go-to Burnaby Sushi joint” “The sushi is always wonderfully fresh” This is my favourite sushi place in the city. Service is always quick and pleasant, and the sushi is always wonderfully fresh. They have a great selection of fancy, decadent rolls (the Volcano roll is a little rich for me, but the tuna sashimi topping comes in an awesome spicy fruit sauce, a bit like Hawaiian poke), but their fish is so great that even the simple rolls are delicious. My favourite is the Boston roll. “I'll definitely be back!” Great service, nice ambiance – very modern, clean, and simple inside. There were a lot to chose from on the menu and many of the rolls were unique. The food was brought out fresh and they were placed nicely on the plates.

They gave us complimentary oranges at the end. I’ll definitely be back!Welcome To SkipTheDishes: A Better Way To Get Your Food. Sushi Oyama is actually a converted heritage house, complete with a fantastic stone exterior and storied wooden walls on the inside, nice morden decor. So nice to dine at a Japanese restaurant that's owned and operated by Japanese. Very hospitable and gracious service ! The spicy tuna sashimi gets two (huge) thumbs up from me ! Seven special spices go into the sauce and top it off with thinly sliced Jalapeno peppers for an extra kick in the pants.

Best Sushi in the city hands downYou can really tell the difference when the chef is actually Japanese and not Chinese!! Well, as noted in my earlier review of Yakko Sushi, "Satomi Sushi" is the new name. My partner and I visited here for the first time post-renovations just this past week. The refreshed look is welcomed. I mean, as much as I loved Yakko Sushi, the space itself was looking a bit tired.

can you make sushi rice with regular vinegar My husband and I have been going to Isami Sushi for over 20 years and can honestly say it's our favourite sushi restaurant and everyone we introduce to it usually feels the same......

It is quite an intimate space but very, very popular. It is popular for good reason - outstanding food. It is a very authentic Japanese restaurant, family owned with very pleasant and helpful staff. The food is fresh (made on site) and it is all very high quality.... this place has been around forever. the price is reasonable, the food is great. Sami and staff are great at service. I have been going here over 23 years, its where i met my wife. very authentic, not a bunch of rolls with mayo. its a regular place for us Had lunch with a friend and Beef Udon was really good. Also ordered an assorted Sushi and it was a good portion to share for 2 people. The price was also very reasonable and staff are friendly.even offered me a towel to dry off because it was raining.....sushi was tasty and rice was fantastic....very accommodating....attentive wait staff.... This is one very old Japanese-run sushi restaurant in Burnaby. It should be about 30 years old at the very same place near Metrotown (Kingsway and Mackay).

In earlier years, it sticked to an old fashioned sushi service, but in recently years it has reborn with a lot of new rolls typical to North American sushi bars. If you are looking for authentic Japanese food, you have to visit this place. The food was great and service was quick and friendly. The place is so crowded. There were quite a lot of repeat customers from what I could tell. I will visit again too. Unfortunately you just can't get NE Asia service in N America. As soon as people move here, they lower their service to the horrible American level. Staff doesn't seem to have any clue what they are doing. Don't know the reservations, don't know the menu, can't remember to bring a beer, can't efficiently ring up the bill. We went to this place on the recommendation of others and we didn't even get our full order and even worse people that came there after us where getting served and we waited a half hour. We got our fill of sushi at price mart. I tried three different sushi restaurants in the Metrotown area this week.
