It has been a wonderful.place to take out of town guests and out whole family. Highly recommend for any and all. Actually I went by accident coming back from the gym. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and qualitative. The menu has a really large choice! The rolls are super refined and fresh. Service is top notch. I do recommend this place. It is worth going there, no doubt Ate here for lunch for the first time. It's always a good sign in a Japanese/Sushi restaurant when there are several tables of people speaking Japanese during their meal.
I had chirashi (raw fish slices over sushi rice with vegetable garnishes) with a nice assortment of fish and my wife had a bento box. Both very nicely prepared. Good variety on the menu. I wish the rolls were bigger but what that lack in size they make up for in taste. Never disappointed after eating here. Have visited many times, both to eat there and to take out. Small rolls and the spicy crab, while flavorful, had almost no crab in it. The salmon and avocado roll was nice. Their bento boxes looked very nice. Excellent sushi and a large variety of non-sushi Japanese dishes consistently please the palette, while the friendly servers make the whole dining experience easy and fun. Come early on weekend nights. The restaurant isn't big and it fills up quickly. We were not adventurous - got the dinner bento boxes. Quality ingredients, good taste, reasonable service, large portions. Tempura was a little too greasy. Miso soup had mushroom as well as seaweed. I was traveling in Albany on business and was looking for a relatively quick and easy dinner. Mr. Fuji did not disappoint. The fish was fresh, the service prompt, and the presentation good. They offer a surprising amount of seating for what appears to be small storefront, so don't be afraid to visit during a busier time. I've been to a few sushi restaurants around the area and this is by far the best. The service is excellent and they also have a private area if you need it. The quality of the food is noticeably better than your "average" sushi restaurant, because it is better.
