More time-consuming and frustrating as the directions make no sense and the gadget simply does not work as intended. After numerous tries, I have never been able to get the sushi to roll out like sushi is supposed to look. Never mind the stuffing spills out the side which is not appealing where sushi is concerned --- it should be clean and neat but with this gadget the sushi is sloppy. Also you end up wasting nori because you have to cut the sheet to fit into the gadget which leaves you with a strip of unusable nori that you have to throw away. Don't waste your time or money.
