The plate of sashimi with a little sushi was all I needed. This Haru is much different from the one I grew accustomed to when I worked midtown. The vibe of the restaurant is aiming for trendy and it doesn't have the traditional feel of its sister location. The food is okay but the sushi isn't as fresh as I had hoped it would be. It's a nice escape for lunch and... Oh and not cheap. Oh and the service can be sluggish. The food is consistent and reliably good. The menu has interesting little gems like the sushito peppers. For a restaurant smack dab in a business district (and priced accordingly) though, the service isn't as snappy as it should be.
