sushi maple ridge 224

This is located right downtown Maple Ridge and is by far the best sushi place in this town highly recommended!!! This place is a hidden gem in Maple Ridge. It is hands down the best sushi I have ever had. The quality of fish and presentation is incredible. Arrived right at Noon and was surprised that we didn't have to wait to be seated as this is a popular sushi spot in M.R. Service was quick and efficient and we didn't feel rushed at all. Tempera Shrimp as great and not greasy, had a mango roll and an Alaskan Roll and the presentation of both was a piece... “Amazing variety of Sushi” With innovative (lunch) specials, the meals are always good, well-prepared and presented and service is way above par. The atmosphere is friendly and menu items also can be read from scrolls on the walls, making it easier to pick an item not tried before. The place is always well-frequented, despite the number of sushi restaurants in the neighborhood. Me and my sister had lunch here it was an all around good sushi meal i would suggest taking an early lunch or dinner as this place fills up fast

Shinobi Sushi is one of our favourite restaurants in Maple Ridge. The food is always very tasty and attractively presented. The service is excellent - the staff are always friendly and efficient. Even when the restaurant is very busy the staff never get overwhelmed and always take time to greet us and ensure that we have everything we need. Absolutely great service, food cooked to perfection, have been here over two dozen times and will be back dozens more. Very busy restaurant, allow 15-20 to get table. They have a daily special. I always have a great meal here. They give you a tonne of food and it is cooked fresh:) The spicy Maple Ridge roll is delicious, along with the spicy tuna/salmon sashimi salad. the tokyo sushi roll was very good and lots of it. also had the terriaki chicken with rice. the atmosphere wa s nice and it was very busy ut the service was exceptional.“Pick up orders get 10% off if you order over $20 except special and combo menus.” “I always order the seafood salad as well as the maple ridge roll when I'm there.”

"We decided to go here on a whim one night after seeing it briefly mentioned on Facebook. We were definitely please with our choice. The environment was lively and friendly. We were seated on the patio and…" "Our first experience started on a rough note. We were surprised when we were told it would be up to 30 mins for our appetizer, so to go ahead and order all our food together. While waiting and waiting the…" "Was just driving through on my way home and notced this place because of the name which I thought was pretty funny. After quickly searching reviews I decided to give this place a shot. "Whenever I visit Surrey, I always have to eat at this restaurant!! They have such authentic and fresh food that you can't find anywhere else :) I love their hot and sour soup! Apparently, it has won awards…" It serves me right; I read the reviews and went to the buffet anyway. My 10-year-old really wanted to try it, so I took him. For the two of us, an adult and a child, the bill came to $40 (including one beer, I'll admit)... which I would have happily paid if the food was good, but it was absolutely abysmal.

Despite hearing the ribs were tough and inedible (completely true), I thought that the raved-about lasagna, pizza and salad bar would at least be enough to give me some great choices. The salad bar was average - decent selection, but pretty basic and not the highest quality food. Several pasta salads to choose from, but all with a plain, mayonnaise base and no real spices or anything to make them stand out.

The dessert buffet was a selection of pies and squares straight out of Safeway. I'm not a huge food snob... but for $20 per person, you can do a whole lot better. 21 reviews sorted by: I have been ordering from Jim's for the past 12 years. The little time I was in the restaurant to pick up food, I would constantly hear yelling and seemed like a really negative environment.

I got in my car and drove there to return the food and get my money back. Due to the crappy way this was handled, I did not return for a number of years. Being a pizza lover, I decided to give it another try a few years ago and it's mostly been really good. The yelling a negative environment seems to have changed and the girls that work there are usually pretty nice. Especially the young blonde one as she always smiles and is helpful. The 2 for 1 pizza or pasta is what I ALWAYS order and it's a good deal. I've tried the wings once but felt they were over priced and not sure about the other food. It's not the type of place I would want to sit in and eat at and I've never been upstairs to the buffet. This place has been around for years and will be for many more. All Pizza and Lasagne has MSG in the meat sauce. The OWNER refuses to have a separate meat sauce with out MSG. Other food that I have eaten over the years include a shrimp cocktail that came directly from the can and a steak that had so much grizzle, it was the worst that I had ever had.
