This recent visit, late in the lunch hour on a Wednesday afternoon in late October, was our fourth. The restaurant has a dark, windowless interior that is slightly brightened by a large 2-sided aquarium that acts as a partition between dining areas. The aquarium is not particularly attractive.... My brother and I used to go here all the time at lunch, we have always had great service so we decided to go for dinner. My brother and I were starving after a long day so naturally we ordered a lot of food. We were constantly met with dirty looks from our server. We dined here the other night and overall we had a fairly pleasant experience. We are not avid sushi-goers but we do appreciate good service and fresh well-prepared food. Our hostess quietly sat us at our table and did not ask us if we had been there before (we had not, so we weren’t sure if it was all-you-can-eat and... I went in today with a group of 6 people. After the closure of our usual London sushi restaurant, we adopted Nov 8 as our new favourite. Service is pleasant, and we like the funky, mid-century plywood decor. The sushi & sashimi are very good, with some of our favourite items being the Headland roll, sashimi salad, and beef tenderloin & sautéed mushrooms. The wonton soup is great, too. While did take out, I did get to see the interior which looks great.

All our food was great, but for two the price was 55 dollars. While that is a good price for all you can eat it's a bit pricey for a couple rolls, and apps.
