We dined here on our first night in Santiago and were not disappointed. The steak was perfectly cooked, the wine recommendation a great match for the food and the service warm, attentive and highly professional. Although this is a large restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Could not speak more highly of our waiter who was very helpful in... We dined here our first night in Santiago. It's very convenient to reach from the Hyatt. We shared an appetizer, salad and steak which was plenty of food for two people! I was here on a recommendation. Ambience is simple but nice and quiet enough. There are two terraces to choose from. We decided for an indoor given it was hot even during the evening out there. It is the Argentinian type barbecue so cuts available are of this type. Menu is simple with expected sides and dishes. It's really the super friendly staff here that make this place. They were attentive and helpful with the Spanish menu. The wine list was comprehensive and we enjoyed a great bottle of Chilean Syrah.

The steaks were ok, though we are spoilt for great steaks at home so we are tough critics on this aspect. The sides were delicious and... This is the restaurant that I have to visit every time I visit Chile! Tender and juicy steak, I would recommend rib eye and steak strip! The waiters are nice and professional! Arrived with out a booking and with ease we were seated and enjoyed great night of steak. The service makes you feel very welcome and at ease. The meal is great and with a pisco sour the night is made at Happening. We had an awesome dinner tonight at Happening. The Rib Eye was huge and tasty, and the Milanesa was really yummy.

Waiter was professional and courteous, while the atmosphere was pleasant. Dessert and herb tea was a great ending. We have lived here for 14 months, and it is one of the best finds yet.
