The Mozzarella was very fresh, the tomatoes were ripe and the seasoning was perfect.  The Trout was cooked perfectly Mediterranean style and the Au Gratin potatoes were some of the best I have tried in a long time. 114 S. Wayne Street Aubri Lanes in Milledgeville came highly recommended as a must visit place after we ran our first edition of the TOP 5 worth the drive restaurants. Forget about the warm and inviting atmosphere, the friendly server, the awesome food and great wine menu, the Bank Vault turned into a wine cellar cozy table for two alone is worth the drive to Aubri Lanes. Yes, the meal was fantastic. The appetizer called “Three Little Pigs” was too tempting by name alone and the Pork Bellies with sweet onion marmalade was yet again a reason to visit this restaurant on its own merit. The entrée of Pecan Crusted Carolina Trout was cooked perfectly and the side dish of Aubri’s famous collard greens had me hunting down the chef for the exact ingredients. Turns out soaking your greens in brown sugar and white apple vinegar is a brilliant idea.  If you are looking a romantic dinner for two for just about any occasion then do yourself a favor and reserve the Bank Vault table and drive to Aubri Lanes.
