Never felt rushed by staff who were very attentive. I would definitely return! Conveyor belt sushi restaurant with very good quality and wide choice over the belt, not just the usual salmon. Price is reasonable considering its location inside a luxury mall. Very crowded both at lunch and dinner Sen Ryo sushi is fast, fresh and very affordable! The food is great, the ambiance is good and the staff are friendly and helpful! Quality is always spot on! For being in the IfC building of HK the price was good. $250 hkd for two people. We ordered from the menu and ate till we were full. The sushi was excellent. Very fresh, good quality. The staff was good. We tried to go for dinner on Friday night but the wait was too long with 30 numbers before ours.... A good queuing system is worth persevering with as the food is of high quality. Great for lunch, but get there early to miss ques. great place for your quick sushi fix. Unless you are there early to see how many rounds the food has taken around the conveyor belt I recommend to order from the menu and you can't go wrong.
Came here just before 6pm on a Friday - restaurant was quite full and I believe half an hour later there was a queue forming outside, so do expect to wait at peak times! I've been to Japan and have visited the Tsukiji fish market and I can say that the quality of... Wasn't overall good as I had sushi from the belt and it wasn't fresh at all. The rice was chunky and the fish was really unfresh. One of the plates had a weird smell. The waiters were efficient and helpful but very loud and noisy. If you're into conveyor belt sushi, Sen-Ryo is a small chain but a very good one. They have all your usual "cheap" favourites, mixed with some fancier items (what up black and gold plates with fatty tuna!)I especially love the aburi sushi here. My newest discovery, which I can't believe I don't see more of, is the red shrimp with butter. It's semi-grilled with a bit of char and a whole buncha YAAAAAS. I tried it as part of the supreme sushi platter, but you can also order this separately too.Though service can be a bit slow (they are extremely busy, after all) my husband says this is the best sen-ryo outlet he's been to. Based on the sushi I've tried, ambiance, IFC location, and fair pricing, I agree with him! (The above review is the personal opinion of an user which does not represent OpenRice's point of view.)
